Chapter 16

'Astaghfirullahal'adhim.' Ning Annisa was distracted to her solemn prayers due to the sagging Rafael. However, he still continued his prayers.

'Oh, even take off the scabbard.' Rafael is confused as to what to do now.

'Oh my God, forgive me. This is unintentional.'

Rafael instantly pulls and ties back the scabbard. He hurriedly followed Ning Annisa's movements which were now doing prostration moves.

However, when the second rakaat, again the holster untied. Rafael again tied his scabbard and continued his prayers.

After the greeting, Ning Annisa glanced towards her husband. It felt like he wanted to laugh loosely, but was afraid of embarrassing and angering Rafael.

"Who has a belt, right?" ask Ning Annisa.

"Have it" replied Rafael.

"Use it to tighten the sheath so as not to sag!" ning Annisa's.

Rafael immediately took his collection belt which he wore for everyday use. After that he returned to prayer following his wife.

After finishing the prayer, Ning Annisa taught a short recitation of dhikr first. Then, he taught Rafael to recognize the Hijaiyah. They learn to teach until the dawn of adhan reverberate.

This time around Rafael's holster has no sagging drama. It was just that after the second rakaat scroll, Ning Annisa read the qunut. He forgot to tell Rafael about this. So, after the Ruku Rafael immediately prostrated and again stood up following his wife raised both hands and listened to the reading and said 'Aamiin'.

'Ouch, forgot. Yesterday 'was when in the mosque there was also this section.'

After finishing the prayer Rafael was eager to ask Ning Annisa, why the Fajr prayer was different from the others. However, to his knowledge he must hold it until his wife finished dhikr.

"What's wrong?" ning Annisa asked looking at her husband.

"Why does the dawn prayer after the ruku not directly prostrate, but instead raise both hands as if praying?" ask Rafael.

Ning Annisa smiled faintly. He was happy that the young man, the famous troublemaker, asked him something he did not know and made him curious.

"It's called qunut, sunna worship. Wearing can, not really, is okay. It's just that the qunut has a lot of virtues," Ning Annisa replied.

"What is that?" rafael asked again out of curiosity. He is currently thirsty for religious knowledge.

"I'll read the qunutu prayer first," Ning Annisa said.

Allahummah early fii man hadait, wa 'afini fiman 'afait, wa tawallani fi man tawallait, wa barik li fi ma a'thait, wa qini syarra ma qadhait, fa innaka taqdhi wa la yuqdha 'alaik, wa innahu la yazillu man wa lait, wa la ya'izzu man 'adait, tabarakta rabbana wa ta'alait, fa lakal hamdu a'la ma qadhait, wa astagfiruka wa atubu ilaik, wa shallallahu 'ala sayyidina muhammadin nabuyyil ummiyyi wa 'ala alihi wa shahbihi wa sallam.

(That is to say: "Allah show me as those whom Thou hast guided. Give me health just as you have given me health. Take care of me as those whom You have protected. Give me the blessing of what you have given me. Save me from the danger of the evil that You have determined. You are the one who punishes and not punished. Not insulting the one whom You make a leader. Noble is the one whom you are enemies to. Most Holy, O our Lord, and Most High. To You all praise is above what You determine. I ask You for forgiveness and repent to You. May Allah bestow upon us the Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.")

The Preference of Reading the Qunut Prayer

Give directions. "Allahummahdinii fii man hawaiit" at dawn qunut prayer has the meaning as a request of a servant to Allah SWT for guidance. This means that you always ask Allah SWT for guidance when reciting it in prayer.

Gain protection. "Wa’aafinii fii man ‘afaiit" which means "Give the servant of salvation as your other servants who have been given salvation". Allah SWT gives protection and gives salvation to His servant who pleads.

Increase gratitude for the blessings obtained. In the qunut there is the prayer "wabaariklii fiimaa a’thoiit", meaning "bless to me what You have loved". This sentence explains that God will always give blessings to His servant who is always grateful.

Avoiding the disease. In the qunut prayer there is the phrase "wa’aafini fii man hawaiit" which is believed to provide protection in the form of salvation. The form of salvation here can be health, where every sworn servant of Allah SWT will get protection from various diseases.

"If you congregate, say 'Aamiin' when the priest reads it," Ning Annisa explained.

After talking about various things that became the basis of Islam, Ning Annisa went to the kitchen to make breakfast. However, it turned out that there were chefs and waiters who were preparing all of that.

"Yes, don't make breakfast" said Ning Annisa.

"What's up, honey?" ask Indira who came to approach her daughter-in-law.

Ning Annisa turned her head towards the middle-aged woman who was dressed up gracefully. It was not seen that her mother-in-law was already four-headed and almost five-headed.

"Eh, Mama. It was about to make breakfast, it was being prepared by the chef," Ning Annisa replied.

"Honey, you don't have to bother doing any work in this house. Your job is to make a lot of grandchildren for mama," said Indira with enthusiasm and of course this makes Ning Annisa very embarrassed.

"Love~, come with me, yuk!"

"Tuh, your duty is to his son Rafael and spend the money" whispered Indira. Again Ning Annisa felt the heat on her cheek.

Rafael, who had just finished exercising, approached his wife. She took Ning Annisa for a walk in her yard while enjoying the warm morning sunshine.

"Love, you don't feel awkward living in this house. It's very quiet here. Mom and Dad will be leaving soon too. They spend more time outside than I do here. Uh, I also actually rarely stay at home either. Sleep sometimes in the apartment" said Rafael honestly.

"I hope from now on you don't go anywhere without taking me. We are now a married couple. It is appropriate that we are always with each other, especially when we need a place to pour out our hearts and minds. I don't want you to do something regretted later on" Ning Annisa said.

"Oh, what if friends want to stay? Sometimes they come here or to my apartment, to come to sleep or run away from home when the state of their house is precarious" said Rafael while patting his eel.

"Then, you're alone?" ask Ning Annisa.

"I'm same. Sometimes they don't go home for days. I haven't even been home for nearly two months" replied Rafael.

Ning Annisa was flabbergasted upon hearing the confession. She just found out that there was such a thing in her husband's friendship. All this time he never thought that they would not run away if there was a problem in his house.

'They were still unstable in their emotions and thoughts. Is Rafael so, huh?'
