Chapter 6: The mysterious group part 2

At 11:00 pm, Sunday is approaching the early hours of the morning the building security alarm goes off. A group of armed criminals broke through the ArfaTech research building, security at night was minimal, there were only 4 security. The group managed to defeat them and barged into the building quickly. Fortunately a security guard managed to call Dr. Arfa before he was also attacked and crippled by the armed group. 

Meanwhile, my father and I were at home, suddenly contacted by a security guard in a panicked tone.

He immediately contacted the police and asked them for help to stop the attack. 

My father rushed to find the ignition key of the autonomous car and ran to the front door.

I who heard my father's conversation on the phone just got out of the room

"Dad, will you let me help?! " i said to my father in a high tone.

"No, no Aria, you're the target of her insecure being there"

"That's exactly why I can't stay silent"

"Let me come" I asked firmly.

"Haah, all right, come on"

We went to the ArfaTech research building with the autonomous car my father was driving. But he used manual mode and stepped on the gas. 

The car quickly drove up and reached the ArfaTech research building. 

When we arrived at the research building, I noticed that the situation was already very critical. Several parts of the building were damaged in the attack. He saw 3 guards lying at the entrance of the building.

There's no time. We had to hurry to find this group of intruders. 

We tried to get inside the building, but he was intercepted by two humanoid robots. The robot is in attack mode and ready to attack at any time.

I've never seen such a humanoid robot that's plain white without any label.

Doesn't look like a waiter robot or one that's been circulating in the general public. What kind of company robot is this. Stiff in my mind.

I decided to be in front of my father taking the initiative to protect my father.

Quickly the first robot on the right threw a fist. I managed to avoid his fist to the left. He pulled his fists in a kick with his left foot and hit me in the stomach. I was thrown 2 meters. While trying to get up my father tried to fight the other robot and also been thrown. I ran into the robot fist in front of me while dodging I pushed the robot body down. I looked to the right and crouched down and kicked the lower leg of the robot that was walking towards my father in a gesture*****pachet. Two robots have fallen. I broke the first robot. Dad rushed to shoot the robot in two. We managed.

We immediately ran into the building.

"Good dad"

"prefer your safety". We whispered to each other.

I immediately ran to the third floor using the emergency stairs. Dad went to the second floor. Arriving on the third floor I rushed to the living room, which I suspected was the criminal group there, because that was where the AI research center was.

I sneaked and peeked behind the entrance wall which was a transparent glass door. I saw someone holding a quantum brain with 3 researchers, I knew right away they were being held hostage. They are Dr. Anna, Dr. Arif, and Dr. Dian.

Quantum brain is a square box of complex devices including a chip with a quantum processor made of Praseodymium, which is hardware for artificial consciousness.

Apparently, he was off guard, someone asked him to speak. I settled into the precipitate with no sound and lunged at it from behind. 

Buk.. "Ah.. " 

I pushed him down and took the quantum brain he was holding.

Quantum brain thrown. I rushed to run and picked it up and hid behind my front desk away from the entrance of the research room. 

Mr. X tried to get up. Approaching the table slowly. He was close enough to see me behind the table. I stood up as if acting to give up. I'm not armed. He pulled the trigger. I analyzed his movements for a split second and managed to dodge. He tried to pull the trigger again. Suddenly my father appeared from behind him and put a gun right in his head. He can't move. 

"Quick surrender. Raise your hands above your head.! "

His group who heard my father's cry rushed over. 

One person came out from behind me. It turned out that this room had a door that could be accessed from both sides. 

He pointed a gun at me. 

I won't let it. I bowed quickly. He pulled the bullet trigger to the floor. I kicked him backwards right towards his chin and before he actually fell, I hurriedly picked up his gun and pointed it back towards him as he fell to the floor. He can't squint. 

"Who are you? " cried my father.

"You don't remember who I am? "

My father increased his vigilance. Mr. x looked to the right side and showed his cheeks.

"You..? "
