Chapter 23.5: Nana and Her Sorrow (Part 2)

"KIRIYAAAA!!!"

Nana's voice echoed in the hallway of the laboratory.

Aldo could only grimace as Nana's eyes were fixed on him.

"Well .. we better get out of here."

Zedd took the two friends with him while lifting up Kiriya's body lying there.

"Okay!" reply Aldo.

Zedd started walking away from the two of them while carrying Kiriya's body like a lifeless doll.

While Aldo seemed to stand with a gaze fixed on Nana.

"I'll bet ... You must have uncovered a secret about the Homunculus Experiment, right?" said Aldo.

Nana's speechless. His gaze looked blankly in any direction with the position still sitting.

"Why do you always guess me?" he said after that.

"As a leader, shouldn't I be able to understand my comrades?" reply Aldo.

Spontaneous Nana hugged Aldo and successfully made the leader was surprised to fall sitting on the ground.

Aldo stroked the head of Nana who was hugging him once more.

Nana did not answer, she just nodded her head still with the position of holding Aldo.

"Both of you! How long do you want to make out there?" zedd said from a distance.

Aldo could only smile clumsily while scratching his non-itchy head.

After that, they all went to leave the place using a white SUV driven by Zedd.

Nana, who was on the back bench with her former assistant who was still unconscious in her lap, was now looking up at the sky. His sight looked far away there.

"Loki .. thank you .. You have shown me the path I must take ..."

Nana spoke in her heart while looking at Kiriya's face above her lap. Then smile before gently stroking the curly head.

Aldo and Zedd were arguing about what music they should play first in the car.
