Arbella: My Perfect Wife

Arbella: My Perfect Wife
S2 | Apologies

Milla smiled silently looking at the handsome face that was sleeping soundly in the campus library. Precisely in the corner of the room has been provided a berleshan place between bookshelves. Even so, the place was probably only occupied by Jourell because no one dared to approach the handsome man to avoid unwanted trouble.

But again that was not the case for Milla who was already sitting next to him. The girl made no sound at all, just looking at him. He soon fell asleep. Without hesitation Milla leaned her head on Jourell's shoulder and fell asleep.

This was witnessed by three friends of Jourell, including Chloe who felt hot.

"Although you like Joy, but Joy doesn't like you. You don't intend to try like Milla?" eric whispered mockingly.

"You don't remember how I chased him like crazy?" ketus Chloe's.

"Like what Milla's doing now" Ray said.

"That would be a waste" Chloe replied.

"Who knows?" challenge Eric.

"No way!" chloe snapped, hitting Eric on the shoulder.

"Akhc!" The whimper instantly distracted the three of them. Milla was already out of place when Jourell got rid of her. Even his head hit the shelf behind him.

Jourell stared intently at Milla. "How many times have I said, stop approaching me!" hiss Jourell furious. He hated being touched by any woman except his own family.

Milla touched her painful head while rising slowly. "If I stop, then I give up?" Milla shook her head. "I won't stop! I love you, Joy."

"Crazy girl!" as Jourell passed away.

"Jay!" Milla was chasing the man. Boldly Milla embraced the arms of Jourell who immediately rebelled furiously.

"GET OFF!" snapped it. Fortunately there was no one there, except for the three people who were hiding watching.

"No way," she refused with a smile. Milla tightened her grip.

"Hard-headed," said Jourell. The rough release of Milla's hand until the girl slightly staggered.

"It's so rude." Swiping his reddened arm as a result of Jourell's grip.

"YES!" her screams saw Jourell leave without a care. "I WON'T GIVE UP UNTIL YOU LOVE ME. I love you, Joy." His screams were at the end. Joy stopped her steps, but only for a moment.

Milla sighed softly staring at the departure of Jourell. For 6 months he pursued the man, but the results were still the same. There's no progress. He leaned his back against the wall while closing his eyes. If that moment did not happen, perhaps looking at the man alone he did not dare.

I fell in love that day, Joy. You alone have kept me alive until now. I'm just following your advice.

Suddenly someone touched his arm. Milla reflexively pulled her hand.

"You okay?" Raymond touched it again. Milla's riveted. Didn't you see wrong?

"You– Ray?"

Ray smiled. The man was different from the flat and cold Jourell. Everyone knows that Ray is a friendly and polite man. Don't forget he's handsome too!

"Follow with me" Ray asked. Milla did not have time to refuse when Ray had already linked his hand, pulling himself to follow.

"Come on! There's no need to be afraid."

"Where are you taking me?"

"Follow it out."

Here they are now, in a new restaurant this time Milla comes. Hyuna restaurant, not a place for people like her. Once inside, Milla could not help but feel astonished. This is a place that is often discussed with campus students. The furniture looks very expensive. It shouldn't be a surprise that Ray can come here as he pleases.

"This is only a fraction of Joy's wealth" Ray smiled.

Just a small part! Yeah, of course you are! Milla's aware of that. But he would be very grateful despite having only this one place. I don't know how much profit you can make, but it can definitely make you rich.

"Ray!" A woman approached them. "Who are you taking?" The woman stared intensely at Milla, making Milla nervous. There is a resemblance to Ray's face. You can guess if that woman was Raymond's mother.

"Mom, this is Milla. He's my college friend." His statement surprised Milla. A fella? They had never even spoken before.

"This is my mother, Roselea." Introducing her mother to Milla.

"Ha– hello, aunty," she said.

"Welcome, Milla. Make yourself comfortable." Leaving the two without a smile on their face.

"I'm sorry, he was like that" explained Ray. Her mother rarely smiled, as did Aunt Grace and Monica.

"No problem." Milla smiled forcefully.

"I brought you in as an apology. Joy was very rude to you, so I'll represent her with lunch. How's it?" tawar Ray's.

"Why?" Jourell's acting like that, but why would Ray apologize.

"It should be for us." That's all Ray said.

No talks during lunch. Both were quiet and focused on their own food. When the sound of spoons and forks clashing signs is finished, then Ray raises his voice.

"You're very persistent. You're the only girl who's been chasing him constantly and pissing him off. Chloe just doesn't dare to act more." Milla smiled faintly hearing him.

"Not difficult. When you love someone, it's hard to find a way to stop. So I'll keep going until I'm tired" replied Milla.

"Joy loves his mother very much. We're worried he's having the Oedipus complex. Did he ever give you conditions?"

Milla fell silent. Is that why?

"She will return my feelings if I can be like her mother" Milla said.

"I'm not surprised." Ray chuckles. Before long the smile of the man disappeared, changing his calm face. "I didn't mean to ban you, Milla. You're a nice, cheerful girl. We're worried Joy will hurt you even more. You deserve to be with someone who loves you and that's not Joy."
