At 7 a.m., Andrew arrived at a large hospital where he used to work. He went to the place to meet a female nurse who used to be his close friend two years ago. Actually, she also often invited lunch together.
When the man reached the second floor, in a fairly quiet hallway, he found the woman he was looking for by holding an empty tray.
"Hi, master Andrew!", greet the woman with a big smile.
Andrew replied with a small laugh.
"You don't have to call me master. Just call me Andrew" said Andrew, who made the woman blush.
"But you're still my boss. It feels like just saying your name, I feel disrespectful" said the woman.
"Hm. By the way, you look more beautiful. Are you on a diet?", asked Andrew. The woman shook her head while smiling.
"Ah, no, really"
"Oh, do you. want to have lunch with me?", asked Andrew. The woman in front of the man remained silent.
Not far from where they stood, two sisters were seen glancing at the two of them while shaking their heads.
"Here, Mr. Andrew is a playboy" said one of the sisters.
"Yes, it feels like, every week, there must be a new woman he invited to lunch" another sister sneered. But it seems Andrew and the woman did not come to him.
Then the two sisters left there.
"Alright, thank you", replied the woman with a red face.
"There is no need to thank me, I am the one who should thank you for coming with me" Andrew said with a smile, then he thrust his right hand to hold the woman's hand.
The woman unceremoniously clasped Andrew's hand immediately, and they walked together out of the place.
Their destination was a restaurant not far from the hospital.
But when they had just reached the first floor, in the area before the exit, Andrew saw his father sitting in the waiting room.
When Mr. Raymond, his father turned his head, Andrew shook his head and immediately took off the hand of the woman he held.
Mr. Raymond just shook his head at the boy, then he walked over to Andrew.
"You are still approaching another woman" said Mr. Raymond.
"I'm sorry, dad, I just took her to lunch" Andrew said.
"I hope from now on you stop asking other women for lunch, for dates, even just to be a talkative" Mr Raymond said. Andrew closed his eyes.
"Couldn't, dad. Every human being needs a conversation partner" Andrew protested.
"Can it be with men, why should it be with women?", asked Mr. Raymond who made the man speechless.
Then Mr. Andrew turned to the woman next to Andrew. With a single glare, the woman immediately left the two of them.
"Dad, if the interlocutor is only one, it is certainly boring" said Andrew.
Sir Raymond shook his head once more. He knew that was just the reason for a play boy like Andrew.
"If you want to have a female interlocutor, take Arabella with you. The girl is suitable to be invited as a talkative"
"Arabella? God, that woman doesn't know anything about me, and.."
"You can tell him about yourself. She was not the type of girl to talk a lot, and she was also not the type to divulge secrets. I know him very well" said Mr. Raymond, who made Andrew take a deep breath.
"Well, next time I'll try" said Andrew.
"Good", Mr. Raymond paused, "Next, invite him to eat together, or just to talk. For the past 4 months, I've never heard of you taking her out to eat together" Mr. Andrew continued.
"It never is. I usually take Sophia, or Shea, or Micah, or I don't know, a lot" Andrew said honestly. From that sentence alone it has seen so many women who become close friends, or even arguably his date.
Mr. Raymond clucked.
"All right, I'll be waiting for news of you eating together. As a man, take him first. You can have a warm conversation. And from there, you'll get to know Arabella better. How do you know Arabella if you hardly ever ask her to speak?", said Mr Raymond.
Andrew looked inside his father, then he nodded his head.
"I'm actually also starting to get curious about the girl"
