Anindita's Wedding

Part 3 The Painful Truth

"I love my girlfriend, I've been in love with her for five months. I do know about this matchmaking, but I can't lie to myself who loves her so much" Adam said without any feelings of guilt at Anindita's confession.

"If you love her, why did you continue this marriage," Anindita snapped, not accepting that she had been lied to.

"I told my parents the truth, but my mother went to the hospital for it. My mother couldn't accept the fact that I loved other women, because she wanted her father's last message and my grandfather's message to be carried out" Adam said.

"And you're a selfish person who only attach importance to your feelings by marrying that woman and marrying me" said Anindita trying to keep her emotions set to not shout louder.

"I'm not selfish, but this is all because of that damn will. I don't want to lose my lover, but I don't want to let my mother down either. and fortunately my lover understood my circumstances and wanted me to marry even religiously."

"Then should I say thank you to your lover," Anindita said with a cynical smile.

Adam simply did not answer the words of the woman who had become his wife. In the minute conspiracy Adam and Anindita were silent no one said at all.

"You know one thing, I hate polygamy the most, and I would never want to even in a dream to have a polygamous marriage" Anindita said.

"So you better divorce me right now" Anindita said to Adam's surprise.

"I won't divorce you, not anytime soon. I don't want to make both of my parents hurt just because of this ridiculous marriage." Adam now looked at Anindita sharply. "And I'm sure you loved your father very much and didn't want to embarrass him for his beloved daughter being a widow in a matter of hours."

Anindita gasped at Adam's words, "Being a widow in a matter of hours" Anindita murmured inwardly. Anin could not imagine her father's shame if it happened to her.

"We must continue to live this marriage like it or not, because now our status is husband and wife. I will continue to do my duty as a husband, giving you birth but,------"

"I know, there's no need for you to explain" Anindita said with a ketus. "Anyone who would sleep with him, a married man, and I, including his wife, too" Anin murmured in her heart, sighing heavily.

"It's good if you understand" said Adam, then laid his body on the couch.

"Then until when is all this," asked Anindita.

"Until the right time for us to convey everything to our parents," said Adam then there is no sound at all, now there is only a soft snoring sound from the sofa.

"Am I willing to go through all this" Anin murmured inwardly. "God, what kind of test is this. On the night of my bride, I became my husband's first legal wife in the eyes of the law and the state, but I also became my husband's second wife religiously, what kind of a joke is this," murmured anindita and did not feel himself immediately asleep because of physical fatigue and his heart.

The next day, as planned. Adam took Anindita to Jakarta, away from his father and away from Adam's parents.

Anin's father cried to release the departure of the only daughter, Anin also saw Mother Tika and Alya who joined in crying to deliver Anin's departure to Jakarta.

During the journey there was no sound at all between him and Adam, after traveling about four hours they arrived at a house that looks very large with a minimalist look makes the house look luxurious.
