Part 9's
Palaemon and Leukothea had just come out from one of the shopping malls. "Mon, fly home, fly away or just human."
"Whatever, I choose to fly."
"Jude, look for a quiet place, let no one see us fly."
"OK, uh mmm, or we'll go to the beach."
"Jude, come on."
The two arrived on the beach while darting then flew once they reached one of the deserted spots.
"Thea, don't fly, and these two bags are broken."
"Oh yes" Leukothea did not have time to continue, he said. He saw a woman being tortured by a man. Both are still the same young maybe both are about 25 years old.
Leukothea immediately went down hoping to become a hindrance to the girl when the man was about to throw a single punch. Leukothea's guess is right himself who was hit by the man's slap.
"Damn it, girls don't know themselves, don't interfere in other people's affairs" the man choked. While the woman held Leukothea's leg as if asking for help.
"Please.", whimper the woman.
Leukothea immediately turned her back and patted the woman on the shoulder "You'll be fine, I'll get this son of a bitch done.".
Leukothea turned around and threw a punch right into the man's stomach.
The man was pushed a few steps back. However, before the man could come to his senses, Leukothea threw a kick at his temple. The man just fell down. Leukothea grabbed the man's collar then slammed it into the asphalt.
"That's all, boy.", Leukothea sizzled.
"The brash girl".", The man tried to get up and throw a kick at Leukothea. Which Leukothea easily avoids. Leukothea grabbed the man's leg then slammed it back to the ground.
Palaemon was only watching from the sky. Leukothea looked back at the girl "Who are you?"
"He's.... My husband.", the girl said slowly.
"Oh ok", Leukothea was just about to turn her body when the man was right behind her preparing to hit a big rock on her.
Reflex, Leukothea used her magical power, she turned the stone into water for a moment, then returned it to stone. The woman and man were stunned for a moment.
Palaemon felt he had to clear this up, quickly he immediately went down but was known by the three.
"Thea, need help.", Palaemon flat-faced after hooking up some of his shopping bags in one of the nearby trees.
"Mon, lo.", Leukothea said nothing after that.
Palaemon instantly flicked his finger, making the man and woman faint instantly.
"Come on, they won't realize what's going on. They'll forget everything since they woke up."
"Jaudah come on."
Palaemon picks up the grocery bag then catches up with Leukothea flying.

Since the incident at the headquarters this morning, Kaerus felt he had no reason not to spend the day outside the headquarters. He was sitting by the beach when the voice of a girl surprised him "Through the beach breeze, fresh young coconut water. You always seem to like enjoying that."
Kaerus was made mute for a moment, when he found a woman who was not foreign to him, she was Nyx. The girl who made him hate the night.
"Lo, say Lo here", Kaerus said flatly.
"Ah, I never thought if you could say rude to me", The girl smiled faintly.
"Gue had no reason to treat Lo well after that."
"That? Oh yes, sorry for the incident that night, Dude.", The girl was sitting right next to Kaerus.
"Sorry, it's so easy for you to talk to me. You realize you left me on the night of our engagement. What Lo thought was easily treated by an apology, Nyx.", Kaerus said in a completely rude tone.
"But Lo can right, let me solve the same problem bokap Lo, instead of Lo play around I like that.", Bentak Kaerus.
"I know, I don't have a place in your heart, but I like you, I like it so much that I can't let you get into the slightest trouble.", Nyx blurted out while showing something circling her wrist.
Kaerus fell silent without a word, finding it was the bracelet he had given Nyx just the day before Nyx left him.
"I love you, even just watching you survive is enough for me", Nyx began sobbing as she recalled the night she left Kaerus alone.
"That night, when I left you, you never knew if I stopped eating often, and liked to lock myself up. My night felt really dark", Nyx grabbed Kaerus' hand and then rubbed it slowly.
"I can only hope you are happy. But I think I was wrong. I know our 5 years of memories will not be easy to forget. I know I was wrong, that's why I came back."
"Nyx, I don't know, if I can still make Nerima Lo again, or not", Kaerus stared fixedly at Nyx who was right next to him, "Gue still likes Lo, Lo, yes I am I am really. But the wound you carved on that night was just dry instead of closing perfectly."
"I know what, may I hold you", Kaerus just nodded then Nyx hugged her tightly. Kaerus was stiff but hugged him back.
"Nyx, if I leave someday, please be happy with the person who will be Lo's life partner.", Kaerus can not hold his tears to flow.
"Where are you going? Please don't go, promise me Kaerus, you're not going anywhere. Enough of me to leave, you don't."
"Nyx Lo, be happy, all my fault, I should never have fallen in love with Lo. And maybe you won't get in trouble from Lo's bokap."
"You're not wrong, I'm wrong. Sorry, because I love you."
"Love can not be mistaken Nyx, because if I listen to a message bokap Lo to keep up Lo, maybe you will not fall in love with me."
"I'm thankful that you ever existed, from you, I know what love means.... And from you too, I can learn how to fight for that love."
"Nyx"
"You don't owe me anything or anything. I owe you a debt of gratitude."
"Nyx"
"I have only one request for you. Be happy, protect the people who mean something to you."
"Nyx but..."
"Slowly, I'm sure I'll be forgotten in your life, what am I? Only the past is painful to remember", Nyx releases her embrace of Kaerus, but Kaerus hugs her even tighter.
"I beg you, I'm enough to make a mistake, if one day there's another girl who will be my successor. Hopefully, our events will not be repeated again", Nyx tried to release Kaerus' embrace.
"Son, no other girl will replace Lo in my life".", Kaerus still hugged Nyx tightly.
"I'm sure it won't happen, Kaerus. Because there is no lasting pain. The pain of loving the person with him will only kill you", Nyx manages to let go of Kaerus' embrace, then takes something out from behind her jacket.
The small pink heart-shaped box was given to Kaerus, then Nyx left, quietly whispering in Kaerus's ear "Don't be late again.".
Simple words indeed, but successfully made Kaerus tears flowed profusely in silence. He only watched Nyx who was walking slowly and then just flew away.
A moment after, Nyx's whisper echoed in her ear. The word Nyx always says when they meet, the reason is quite simple. Because Kaerus was always late.
Kaerus just silently stared at the box that Nyx gave, his heart was not ready to know what was in it, whatever it was, but obviously it would only make him cry as it became.
Whispers slowly popped out of Kaerus' mouth "Thank you, I'm sorry I love you."
"I promise you", The wind blew Kaerus' hair as his whisper was flung out once more.
He did not understand, whether love is this complicated, why when he realized that love could be his strength, fate turned his thoughts into pain and suffering.
When he was, he started to get comfortable with the word love. But that love betrayed him, crushed him, and destroyed him.
Something he almost managed to forget, even if only almost, but it came back again. Destroying his efforts that he painstakingly forgot.
Kaerus did not understand whether he should be happy or sad about what had just happened. He shouted loudly "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa."
It made the wind blow very hard because of his anger. Sometimes he tries to make a mess by playing sea water using his magical power.
