S2 - EPISODE 212

Lovely and Andrew cook together, Andrew helps Lovely wash dishes and clean the kitchen counter.

Lovely carries the plate, Andrew helps and takes over the plate that Lovely has in hand.

"You want to take him to the dinner table? Let me carry and arrange on the table." Andrew walked slowly to the dining table.

Andrew arranged the dishes and other cutlery. Lovely was glad Andrew wanted to help her.

Lovely comes and puts the dishes on the dining table, Andrew to the kitchen and brings the other dishes to the dining table.

"Thanks, I've been bothered to help." Lovely soft voice.

"Hey, don't talk like that. It's not a big thing baby, (Andrew wiped the sweat off Lovely's forehead) I'm glad I could help you." Answer Andrew.

"I'll get you your change of clothes, you can use the living room bathroom. Take a bath, towels and bathtubs are in the closet." Lovely.

Andrew nodded, "okay, I'll take a shower, you take a bath, too."

Andrew went to the guest room to take a shower, as did Lovely who walked into the room to look for Andrew's change of clothes.

In the room, Lovely opens the closet and searches for the clothes Andrew keeps. After a long search Lovely finally found Andrew's clothes. Lovely exited her room and walked towards the guest room.

In front of the guest room door Lovely stood, Lovely knocked on the door and opened the door. Room was empty, Andrew was still in the bathroom.

Lovely stepped in and put Andrew's clothes on the bed. Lovely knocks on the bathroom door and tells Andrew that his clothes are ready.

Geck..

Geck..

"Andrew, I've got your change of clothes ready. Just leave your dirty clothes in the bathroom. Okay" Lovely spoke out loud.

Klekk..

(L door sounds)

Lovely was surprised, the bathroom door opened. Andrew came out of the bathroom with only a towel around his waist. Lovely immediately turned around, her face flushed red.

"There's a kimono towel in Andrew's closet, why come out wearing only a towel like that." Lovely Protest.

"Ah sorry, I rushed out earlier." Answer Andrew.

"I'm going out, I'm going to take a shower. Oh. Your clothes are on the bed." Lovely walked away quickly.

Lovely closed the guest room door slowly, Andrew just smiled sweetly at Lovely's adorable mannerisms. Andrew walked over to the bed and changed his clothes.

 

Brian, Amelia, Lovely, Alex and Andrew have dinner together.

"Hmm. Let me guess, this must be Love." Alex looked at Lovely.

"How does it feel? Yummy?" Ask Lovely.

"Of course it's good, not in vain papa trained you brother." Answer Alex.

"Papa, how's our meeting tomorrow? The presentation materials I've prepared and I put on my desk papa." Lovely looked at Brian.

"Eat first, we'll discuss that later. Ahhe.. Andrew, (Brian is staring at Andrew) Uncle's been calling your mom and dad. Tomorrow we'll have dinner together and discuss your marriage to Lovely. Uncle also needs to talk to you in private, you don't mind right?" Brian spoke in a soft tone of voice.

"Of course uncle, I won't refuse." Answer Andrew.

"Okay, eat first. After the meal we can sit back and talk about a lot." Brian said devouring the food on his spoon.

"Eat a lot of Andrew, no need to worry about us." Amelia.

"Yes aunt, thank you." Answer Andrew.

Alex had no voice, his mouth was full of food. His mind was busy thinking about Stela and the food that was in front of him.

Brian and Amelia enjoy dinner, Lovely and Andrew do too. After a short conversation no more voices were heard. There was only the sound of scraping spoons, forks and plates.

 

After dinner, Alex and Amelia gather in Amelia's room to talk. Andrew followed Brian into the study.

Brian stood in front of the bookshelf, his eyes probing each book like he was looking for something.

Andrew stood behind Brian, Andrew just silently staring at Brian's back. Brian walked slowly and felt his books.

"So, how are you feeling? Are you happy to get married?" Brian asked, Brian was still staring at the books on the bookshelf.

"Of course uncle, I'm very happy." Answer Andrew.

"Marriage is not an easy thing Andrew, not as sweet as dating, and also not as beautiful as it seems. Your aunt and I have been together a long time. A lot of things we've been through even before we got married we've been in trouble. Marriage is not just about uniting two people, between a man and a woman. Marriage also unites two hearts, must trust each other, understand, understand and support each other. Throw away selfish attitudes, must be able to withstand emotions. In marriage husband and wife are one, sharing mutual grief together. You must be ready to share all your burdens and also share your problems with Lovely, and vice versa. Not everyone wants to tell problems and complain to their partners even though they are married Andrew. That is the cause of the breakdown of a relationship, which triggers misunderstandings and quarrels. Until it ends in farewell. I just want you and my daughter to live a good life." Brian explained, Brian picked up a book and opened it.

"I understand uncle, I will try to be a good husband, who can protect and take care of my own family." Answer Andrew.

"Try until the end, life is like a race. If you fight you will be a winner, if you are silent you will lose and get nothing. Forget what happened to Andrew's past, get up and show the world if you can get through it all." Brian turned around, walked over and sat down on the sofa.

Brian sat on the couch, Brian crossed his legs, "sit down, tell me how you're doing and what are your plans for marriage? Brian asked Andrew.

Andrew sat in front of Brian, Andrew telling him about his company. Brian just nodded his head at Brian's words.

"On the future, after marriage I plan to live separately. I mean I want us to be independent, what about uncle?" Ask Andrew.

"Not bad, it should be like that. Then you ready that house? Or just looking?" Brian asked back.

"On that, I have an uncle's apartment. Usually, if I'm lazy to go home, I'll stay in my own apartment." Answer Andrew.

"Good first step, think to live independently and not rely on parents. Uncle's happy, your mind is open and broad. Next you must be able to better live life, do not throw each other responsibility. If you encounter difficulties it is better to talk together so that you can find a way out and a solution to your problem. And you, if Lovely wants to help you never refuse. A wife will feel happy and proud if she can help solve her husband's problems. Their hearts will be satisfied even if they only do small things. Andrew was silent, looking at Brian. His mind thought of many things, Brian's words were still being digested by Andrew.

"Be a man who is like a lion when he is outside, and face many people. Be as soft as cotton when you are inside the house. Because at home there will only be your wife and children. Do not bring work problems into the house, work problems solve in the office. Home problems solve at home." Said Brian.

"Yes uncle, I understand." Answer Andrew.

"I'm sure you understand very well I mean Andrew. And my words open a stranger to your ears. My mouth will never stop and will never get tired of advising you too Lovely." Brian placed the book beside him, folding both hands on his chest.

"Yes uncle, Andrew understood. Uncle loves us so much, just wants the best for us. Thank you uncle." Said Andrew.

"It's late, if you're tired sleep here. Sangan to drive in a sleepy state, if anything happens to you my beloved daughter will definitely be very sad. If my daughter is sad, I'm sad too." Said Brian.

"Yes uncle, it looks like I'm going back home. There are some things I want to talk about with my mom." Answer Andrew.

Brian nodded, "ah. What did you say."

That night Andrew found Brian in the study room, until Andrew said goodbye to go home. Brian drove Andrew to the main door, saw Andrew get in the car and darted away.

Brian went back inside the house, walked into Alex's room. Brian opens the door to Alex's room, Alex sits on the bed and prays. Brian came in and closed the door, walking slowly closer to Alex.

Long silent in prayer, Alex ended his prayer. Alex's eyes slowly opened, Alex was shocked when he saw Brian standing beside him. Brian rubbed Alex's head and sat on the edge of the bed, next to Alex.

"Great, don't forget the struggle of prayer." Brian praised Alex.

"Why see me? What's up?" Ask Alex.

"There's nothing, just want to see your son. How was your day today? Pleasant?" Ask Brian.

Alex nodded, "good pa, today there is nothing special. Just met friends this afternoon, (Alex remembered something) oh I almost forgot, pa... did uncle David and aunt Angela come? I had a chance to meet Stela earlier when I was at the coffee shop." Alex curious.

Brian looked at Alex, "about that papa doesn't know son, there's no news. How then? You guys argue? Stela wasn't very happy sticking to you when you were a kid?" Said Brian.

"That's you, I met and picked him up when he was about to fall. Stela's kind of getting away from me and doesn't want to get close to me." Alex complained.

"That's the usual thing, you've started growing up. Maybe Stela's shy, there must be a reason why Stela is like that. Don't think about it, if there's time to get Stela to meet. Eat or watch a movie, don't get too cold on Stela Alex." Said Brian.

"Yes, Alex understands." Answer Alex.

"OK, sleep. Papa will see your brother in his room. Good night, good night." Brian said back rubbing Alex's head.

Alex nodded, arranged the pillow and lay down. Brian stood up from his seat, pulling a blanket over Alex's body. Brian left Alex in his room.

Brian exits Alex's room and closes Alex's door. Brian stepped towards Lovely's room, Brian knocking on Lovely's door slowly.

"Darling, can you come in?" Ask Brian.

"Let's go, pa, I haven't slept." Answer Lovely.

Brian came in and closed the door, walking up to Lovely.

Brian climbed into the bed and sat down on a pillow. "It's so comfortable."

"Pope.." Lovely hugs Brian.

"Have you prayed?" Ask Brian.

Lovely nodded, "already."

"why not sleep?" Brian took off Lovely's embrace and looked at Lovely.

"Hmmm (Lovely rolled his eyeballs) because he was still not sleepy and could not sleep. Papa himself why hasn't he slept? Andrew's home?" Ask Lovely.

"Andrew's home, papa's driving him to the main door. Then you go to Alex's room and then to your room." Answer Brian.

Brian straightened his legs, Lovely slept on Brian's lap and hugged his beloved doll. Brian rubbed Lovely's shoulders and stroked Lovely's hair.

"Pa?" Lovely called Brian.

"Hmmm? What's up?" Answer Brian.

Lovely was speechless, Lovely closed her eyes slowly and sang.

"In your prayer you call my name

In your wish you would say my name

In all things my name is in your heart

I can't repay your love, my father

I won't forget your advice, mother

Thanks mom and dad

Your sacrifice, dripping sweat, for my happiness

"Thank you papa, always be my greatest dad. Lovely loved papa very much, Lovely will never forget papa, because papa is always in Lovely's heart. Papa, mama and Alex, you are my encouragement and source of happiness." Lovely tightened her arms around the doll.

"Daughter, just hear thank you papa is very happy. Thank you for wanting to be a dutiful and obedient daughter, papa is grateful to have you in your life. Later, you should be able to be a good mother, be able to educate your children lovingly. Also a tough wife like mom. Okay?" Brian smiled faintly, each staring at his daughter his heart was always touched.

Brian's eyes started to heat up, it felt like time stopped and did not turn around. Wanting her children to remain toddlers, but all that is impossible. Time goes on and on, there is a time. Where children grow into teenagers and then grow up.

"I'll remember papa's advice, I'll always be papa's pride." Lovely.

"Love, there's something you want to tell you." Brian's voice was soft.

Lovely changes her position, Lovely still sleeping on Brian's lap. Lovely looked at Brian. "What's pa?"

"Life before and after marriage is not easy. If you get into trouble, never blame each other. Face together, find solutions and solutions together. Fighting will not solve the problem, it will only make things worse. Respect your husband's opinion, don't be selfish and win by yourself. In this life anything can happen, no one knows what will happen in the future. It could be that what was okay became bad, it could also be the opposite. Lovely smiled, "I understand papa, your daughter has learned a lot from her greatest father. Don't worry, I can definitely deal with everything later. No matter what happens in my life, I should always be grateful. Didn't you?" Lovely's answer made Brian smile.

"That's smart of my daughter. (Brian pulls Lovely's nose slowly) isn't in vain if papa's mouth is cramping due to a lot of nagging." Said Brian.

"May me and Andrew be as great as papa and mama. Share each other with joy, be open and trust each other. Also be a papa mama who can educate our children well." Lovely looks happy, her smile widens.

"Papa believes you can, you are strong and tough kids. There are terms like this, a steep and winding road will result in a great driver. A fierce and wide ocean will produce tough sailors. Dark and dark skies will produce a reliable pilot.

Problems that decorate life will produce strong people. Therefore, be thankful that bad things will teach a good lesson. "Papa, I'm so grateful to be your daughter. If everyone knew what papa really was like, everyone would be jealous of me. Papa is handsome, very good, smart and also wise. Hopefully Andrew can be as wise as you are, and I can also be as tough as mama." Lovely wakes up from her sleep and hugs Brian.
