CHAPTER 19 Feeling Annoyed
On the way to school, Amara ventured to open the conversation early.
"Sister, brother" said Amara
"Yes" Ari said
"Sister didn't tell you he was going to pick me up?" Ask Amara
"Let's suprise that" (while smiling) Ari said
"What the hell, brother, wear suprise all?" Amara
Amara is upset with Ari, because Ari did not tell her that she was going to pick him up.
"I have no other intention, Ra, just pick you up" said Ari
"Yes I know my sister, but what my father and mother said later" Amara said
"It's good that your father and mother bless me" (with a smile) Ari said
Amara just kept quiet, Amara getting annoyed with Ari.
"Oh yes, brother, please take me to the workshop now" said Amara
"Later on, Ra" Ari said
"Now, brother" said Amara
"Well, how are we gonna be late?" Ari
"Yes obviously I want to ride my own bike, brother" said Amara
"Okay, I'll take it if it wants you" said Ari
"Hmmm" said Amara
Ari takes Amara to the workshop first before going to school.
On Nara's side, father and mother.
Father, mother and Nara sat on the porch. Nara who was playing mobile phone chose to put her phone. My mom and dad talked about Amara.
"Mom, you know that kid?" Ask Dad
"No, the first time a mother sees a child" said the mother
"That kid looks nice and polite huh?" Say Father
"Yes, the first time I saw Amara was picked up with someone" Mother said
"Do you know the brother's friend?" Ask Nara
"No ma'am, but I've seen a sister among someone but someone was not the one" Nara said
"Many children are also friends" (while smiling) said the mother
"Never tell a story about his friend?" Continue mother
"Never, ma'am, do you know your own brother and his man closed" said Nara
"That means our son is grown, Mom. Dare to bring the guy to the house" (with a smile) Dad said
"Yes yeah. Usually he is also embarrassed if picked up by a guy" (whilst smiling) said Mother
I just smiled and nodded my head.
In the family, Amara is a closed person. What mom and dad know about Amara is that she has a lot of friends from among women while male friends can only be counted with fingers. But as time went by the old Amara, not the present Amara. Amara is now more mature than ever.
On the side of Amara and Ari.
After arriving in front of the workshop, Amara went down and asked about the damaged motorbike. The one with the workshop already recognized Amara. This workshop is a subscription to Amara's father.
"Assalamualaikum, um" said Amara
"Waalaikumsalam, Amara" said Yang who has a workshop
"Om, can I get the bike?" Ask Amara
"Not yet son, your motorbike can be taken later in the afternoon. You see, your motorbike while repairing it" said Yang who has a workshop
"Oh yeah, om?" Amara
"Yes later yes just taken" said Yang who has a workshop
"Yes om, if that's why I go home first om" said Amara
"Not going in the house first, while waiting for the bike?" Saying Who has a workshop
"Not to, next time. I want to go to school first" said Amara
"Oh yes son" said the man who had a workshop
"I go first, om" said Amara
"Yes" said Yang, who has a workshop
Amara walked back to Ari.
"Where's the bike?" Ask Ari
"It's still being improved" (With a lack of spirit) Amara said
"Oh, let's go up. We will be late" said Ari
Amara nodded her head.
On the bike, Amara was silent.
"Kok quiet?" Ari
"No, brother, just lazy to talk" said Amara
"Oh that?" Ari
"Yes" said Amara
10 Minutes later, Amara and Ari arrive at school. In the parking lot Amara waiting for Ari who was parking his motorcycle. After Ari finished parking his bike, he approached Amara.
"And thank you also for anterin me" continued Amara
Ari who has not yet answered Amara's words. Then from behind, Mentari walked towards Amara.
"Rara, you were here?" Ask a Mentari
"No, I just arrived" said Amara
"Sister Ari" (while smiling) Mentari said
"Content yes?" Ari
"Yes my brother" said Mentari
"You know me?" Ask Amara
"Yes I already know Ari's brother" Mentari said
"Oh that's it" said Amara
"If so we go there" (while pointing towards the meeting room) Ari said
"Yes my brother" said Mentari
Ari walks in front of Amara and Mentari.
"Tar, how did you not reply to my chat earlier?" Ask Amara
"Gue on the road earlier, so you did not have time to reply to your chat" replied Mentari
"Oh, you were here?" Ask Amara
"I've been here 20 minutes" replied Mentari
"Oh, you're riding an angkot?" Amara
"I don't have a motorbike" Mentari said
"Have you got a new motor?" Ask Amara
"Yes I'm the new bike guys" (while smiling) Mentari said
"Bonceng I dong" (while returning the smile of Mentari) said Amara
"Yes, if I go home with you" said Mentari
"What is it really?" Amara
"I'm really" Mentari said
Ari entered the meeting room and was followed by Amara and Mentari.
Amara and Mentari were sitting close together. Ari was at the front along with the other senior OSIS members. Then Ari occasionally looked towards Amara. But Amara pretended not to know Ari's behavior.
Mentari who was beside Amara, was made wrong by Ari who occasionally looked at him. Though Ari's view is Amara is not Mentari. Mentari continued to fix the hijab she was wearing.
On the side of dawn.
Dawn who saw Ari's behavior occasionally looked towards Amara and Mentari.
"Ri, do you have a crush on the same kid?" Dawn said while whispering into Ari's ear
"Which one is it, Ri? Right what's left?" (While smiling) Continue the Dawn
"What the hell Jar, my people look at our junior one-on-one" said Ari
"Gue salamin to Mentari what is Amara?" (While smiling) Ask Dawn
"Nih son both ghibah Mulu lu" said Misba (Misba is a senior member of OSIS or a class with Ari and Dawn)
"Tuh the dawn of ghibah" said Ari
"The two of you" Misba said
"When did the meeting start?" Continue Misba
"Guys, have you been present?" Shouted Misba
"Yes, there's everything" said someone outside the room
All the members of the OSIS are already indoors and some are outdoors. They've opened a meeting in the classroom. This meeting discussed the election of the chairman of OSIS and vice chairman of OSIS. The meeting was held within 30 minutes. They approved as many as 3 people who nominated as the chairman of OSIS along with their respective representatives. And one of them who nominated was Ari. But Ari's deputy is not known with certainty.
After they finished the meeting, all the members of OSIS in the room came out. Amara and Mentari are together. They both walked towards the parking lot.
On Ari's side.
Ari exits the room and looks for Amara. Ari did not see Amara. Ari opens her phone and sends a chat to Amara. Amara is inactive. The message Ari sent was just a gray one. Finally Ari decided to call mobile to Amara.
On the Mentari and Amara side.
Amara, who was standing in the parking lot waiting for Mentari, pulled out her motorbike from the parking lot.
Cringe cring (the sound of Amara's cell phone rang)
📞"Amara: Hello, Assalamualaikum sis"
📞"Ari: Waalaikumsalam, where are you?"
📞"Mara: I'm going home, I'm with Mentari to come home"
📞"Ari: wait for me in the parking lot"
