It was late at night when Ara came to visit her house with a large backpack behind her. He came with teary eyes as if ready to drop his tears right then and there. As a result, the confused Alisha immediately told her to go inside because it was raining outside. That night, he saw the other side in Ara. The fragile side he never showed anyone.
The girl recounted her family's troubles with countless tears. Making Alisha grimace and stare concerned at the roll that had been blistered by the tears of the glasses girl.
Oho! Do not forget also snot that sticks beautifully in the roll. However, he ignored all that and chose to listen to all the complaints of the girl. To him, comforting was no longer needed at this time. He knew, he just had to listen without interrupting the story. Because at a time like this, people just want to be heard instead of commented on.
That night, Alisha lets Ara stay at her house. Not to forget, he replaced the pillowcase used snot and tears of the girl with a new one. And because of that, he wanted to feel like he stuffed his ears when he constantly heard Ara's apology just because of the snot problem. Even in the morning, when the girl was picked up by her private driver who said that her parents had gone out of town again, she still apologized and intended to change the pillowcase. It really pissed him off and just rolled his eyeballs lazily.
"No want! Mr. Hendra will be outraged for letting me not come home." the girl was frustrated. Mr. Hendra is a driver in the Ara family who has served even before Ara was born in this world. Mr. Hendra's friendly and affectionate personality made Ara love him like her own father. He was even jealous of Mr. Hendra's children who grew up with the man's affection.
"If it is like that, go home and face the two monsters." chirped Rain who had been silent earlier. His words were not touched by his two best friends made him turn his head from his cellphone.
"What's wrong?" Confused ask.
"Yourhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! Alright!" Ara exhaled her rough breath. He got up from his show and began to tidy up his clothes. He packed his things and did not forget to put his school uniform in his backpack.
Ara and Rain had always left their clothes at Alisha's house while staying. They reasoned that when they decided to stay without any planning in advance as Rain requested earlier, the two did not have to bother going home to just pick up clothes.
"That's my new friend!" Chirp Rain is proud. He just wanted Ara to face his problem instead of running away. The girl ran away from her problems too often. Rain was afraid that his situation would get worse if Ara still forced her decision to avoid the girl's parents.
"Is Mr Hendra going to pick you up?" Alisha asked to get up from the bed. He placed Kiki beside the faithful Rain lying in the middle of the bed.
"Yes, I think in fifteen minutes he will arrive" said Ara looking at the wall clock with a picture of a keroppie character in Alisha's room. Alisha follows Ara's behavior by looking at the watch on her right arm.
Wasn't it! It's not that Alisha is left-handed and uses the watch in her right hand. But because he was used to it and comfortable with the position. All the accessories for the hand such as bracelets, rings, and watches he always wears on his right hand. Meanwhile, his left hand only has one bracelet of the same cloth used by Rain and Ara. Rain calls it a friendship bracelet.
"It's half past seven. You don't want to go home, Rain?" Tanya Alisha turned her face towards Rain who had been sitting down playing Kiki. Rain who saw Alisha glaring and was about to approach her immediately interrupted her steps.
"Calm down. I was picking up a strand of hair that was stuck to Kiki's body. You're so possessive," Rukuk Rain returns the teddy bear to Alisha. Alisha who received it immediately hugged the doll dear.
"It's a memento of my childhood best friend, you know?" Alisha's words were soft. He recalls his childhood friend who had no news for a long time.
"Boy childhood friend? A boy or a girl?" Ask Ara suddenly. He stopped packing his things and looked at Alisha with sparkling eyes.
"Eum.. Man." great-grandson of Alisha who now hides her face in the belly of the doll.
"Really?!!" Koar his two friends to hear Alisha's answer.
"Why are you surprised?" Confused Alisha.
"Is your little friend really a man? What's-her-name? How's face? Is he nice and friendly? Where is he now? Why haven't I seen her?" Rain's constant questioning made Alisha look at him flat. He turned to sit in his study chair and looked at his two friends who looked back at him with sparkling eyes.
"His name is Alva. I always called him that. I don't know his real name because he won't tell me. She said, I just have to call her that because she likes it. So, I just followed her request," explained Alisha reminiscing about her past.
When Rain wanted to ask something, he heard the sound of a car horn from outside Alisha's house. The three simultaneously turned to the window of the room which immediately showed the courtyard of Alisha's house. In front of Alisha's house, a black car is parked by Ara's family. Mr. Hendra arrived sooner than expected to make Rain snort miserably. He's been listening to Alisha's childhood. Alisha who knew the reason for Rain's snort just giggled amusedly. He then turned to Ara who was standing in her backpack.
"Hopefully it works, Ra!" Alisha excited Ara who started walking out of the room. He followed Ara's steps followed by Rain who was also carrying his backpack intending to go home. He had cleaned up his things earlier after he had taken a shower.
"Eh? You coming home too, Rain?" Wonder Alisha. The reason, the girl said she did not want to go back to her boarding house sooner. The question is only answered by the languid dehaman of Rain. Meanwhile, Ara patted Rain's shoulder giving him some encouragement after the night.
Alisha and Rain waved back with a smile. After, Ara left with her car, Rain turned to look at Alisha who was still staring at the direction Ara's car was going.
"I'm also saying goodbye, Al," said Rain as she waved her lips. He is still upset because he canceled his stay at Alisha's house. Though he still wants to listen to Alisha's story and wants to tell her about his experience these few days.
"Haha.. Don't show me your ugly face, Rain. It was disgusting," led Alisha who made Rain now widen her eyes funny and grunt annoyed.
"Well.. It's up to you, Al. I'm saying goodbye, huh?" Doldrums. He forced his smile on Alisha making the glasses girl chuckle.
"Be careful on the road," Alisha's message smiled sweetly. Rain simply replied to her with a mutter. He waved his hand and ran in the same direction as Ara's car.
After Rain's body goes missing around a street corner, Alisha intends to enter her home to prepare to go to the hospital where her grandmother is being treated. When, he wanted to open the front door of his house, a voice that was very familiar to him sounded.
"Allisha.."
Alisha was surprised, she hardened her jaw and insisted not to turn around even though her heart was in revolt.
"Alisha, honey?" The voice sounded again. Alisha tightened her grip on the doorknob in front of her.
"What are you here for?" Cold asked.
The figure of the man behind her smiled wryly. He dared to touch Alisha's shoulder to turn the girl upside down.
"Keep your hands away from my body!" Alisha's response immediately turned to face the person and brushed aside her hand. He stared at the old man.
The man in front of him smiled sadly. He is not surprised by the attitude of Alisha who hates him.
"Darling, Papah please-"
"Don't call me that! And what did you just say? 'Fuck'? I think you're wrong people. You better get out of here before I scream!" Threatening Alisha makes the figure of the man in front of her show a very visible disappointed look.
"Alright, Papah will go. Take good care of yourself, will you? Papah will come again, Papah promised," said the old man with a sad smile. He turned his body around after being satisfied to look at his beloved little daughter. He got into his car and left the house.
After the person who claimed to be the father of Alisha, Alisha's body fell and sat on the porch of her house. Tears that had been held back now escaped without wanting to prevent it. He cried out in condolences to his extremely disrespectful attitude a moment ago. The man, the man who incised a wound in his heart in the past. That man, Alisha's father.
