Episode 14: Something to Hide
The clang of cutlery clashed with each other, three human beings were seen enjoying their meal time. Togetherness that they rarely feel because of the busyness of their respective state duties.
The woman occasionally glanced at the young man in front of her, occasionally smiling while feeding a piece of meat into her own mouth.
“Your Majesty the Queen.. stop taking care of me like that,” said the young man while focusing on cutting the meat on his plate.
“Ckkk... ckkk. He's getting married tomorrow. Is there something you want?” Ask the woman.
A man who looked older responded to the woman's words, “are you ready, Prince El Nath?” Ask this guy.
“I'm still wondering why you chose Callista as my partner out of the thousands of girls in Magellan?” El Nath asked, staring at the two people in turn.
“I thought that when you had succeeded me as King, you could abolish this tradition of matchmaking,” replied King Fomalhaut who was none other than his father.
While returning to focus on his activities of cutting meat steak, “it can not. I don't intend to change it. Looking back on the past, a Prince who was not a royal lineage was instantly given freedom in marriage, he married a widow.”
The queen stopped her activity of cutting meat instantly upon hearing the word widow. “El Nath, say someone who has been married, is more delicate than a widow. You got it?!” exclaim Queen.
“Ah. That's why I agreed to a tradition or marriage arranged by the royal family. To avoid the Crown Prince or prince of the royal lineage marrying a woman who has been married before.” Clearly El Nath was steadily raising his gaze.
King Fomalhaut smiled, looking proud at his son, “so? Was there not a woman you liked all this time?” Ask King Fomalhaut.
“No. If I like it and it doesn't fit the criteria of the kingdom. I'm just gonna hurt him. So it is better to suppress the feeling.” Reply firmly.
Queen Rose added, “you can make her your concubine.”
Prince El Nath was surprised but not how much because he could master it, he felt funny with his mother's spontaneous answer. Maybe because his father had only one wife and it was good that they had liked each other when they knew they would eventually have to submit to the royal marriage rules.
“Mama... no woman wants to be the umpteenth.” Answer El Nath.
“Who said? There will always be women who want to be made umpteenth, especially with government facilities even though only as concubines.” Said Queen Rose.
Prince El Nath laughed, his mother still did not want to lose. His father seemed to listen to them argue.
“Keeping the king's image is very important, but El Nath if at any point there is a choice you want to have a mistress or make her a concubine. Choose the second option, but make sure she is not a woman who will harm your legitimate offspring,” finally her father voiced.
His father's words had a point to think but what was not appropriate was how to find a woman who received to be a concubine who was not tempted by the throne. Not to mention Callista and his family, once they heard El Nath had another woman besides their daughter by his side, they would not stay silent. The one at the disadvantage is definitely the woman's side. Callista has ambition and unwillingness in every way.
“Why is he not allowed to come home with me?” Asked Prince El Nath, his gaze seemed to obscure all pairs of eyes in this dining room.
King Fomalhaut was relieved to hear it, “please Phill you can go,” said King Fomalhaut.
Queen Rose tried to melt the atmosphere seeing Prince El Nath probing demanding answers, “I will bring Polaris to meet with Callista,” Queen Rose said with a happy smile.
Polaris is the only daughter who is forced to stay away from them, teaching Polaris to live independently as an obligation for them as her parents. Because for the Royal Princess after they are married, they will live with their husbands and not live in the palace even though the title of nobility will never be removed except for something.

“Quila, have you been with Sir Sirius?” Prince Regulus asked by phone.
“Ah.. yes, we are heading to hotel,” replied Quila.
“Good, tell him tomorrow I will send some bodyguards to pick him up,” said Prince Regulus.
“Alright, I'll tell you father,” replied Quila.
Prince Regulus hangs up his phone, Quila is with Sirius now but Polaris, his niece turns out to have a relationship with Sirius. For the same reason now his target is not only his nephew but also his niece.
It would be dangerous if his brother found out that Sirius was a prince the son of Queen Soraya. His brother will be eyeing him for Polaris meaning all he has to do now is change the direction of his main target. She did not expect that her niece would make her position again threatened.
“Prince Regulus, Princess Polaris has arrived in Magellan. Currently on his way to the palace with some bodyguards,” reports Andrew.
“Be sure to keep an eye on Polaris and Sirius, directly report to me if they meet.”
“Good, Your Highness.” Said Andrew.
Once again he set foot in Magellan, his brother had sought him out shortly after they had won the war with Endora.
Returned to meet with his nephew who should have disappeared yesterday. It was no big deal that he had to change his plans, let the royal wedding take place while he focused on getting rid of Princess Polaris and making her the third heir.
“Prince Regulus, the King is waiting for you in his room together with Crown Prince El Nath,” Andrew said.
“So? They've all gathered?” muttered. The next thing they will do is have dinner with the royal family with the family of the future Crown Princess at the palace of the residence of the King and Queen. Eventually they chose to introduce Polaris to the public after some time hiding it. And in a few days they will lose it.
