Chapter 48 - The Threat of Afrijal

"I'm sorry, even if I stay with Mas, I'm not happy. My feelings for Gamal never changed. He is also the father of Zafran. You have to understand, Mas.." said Zara at length.

"Everything's fine. Mother promises," replied Zara. He took a long breath. Then smile thinly. So that Zafran can trust his words.

"Mother Zafran is right! Everything's gonna be okay." Elsa, who was still in the room, entered the conversation.

"Thank you, El. I don't know what it would be like if you and Raffi didn't exist" Zara said earnestly.

Meanwhile, Gamal is still lying on his back in the hospital bed. One of his hands began to show movement. Slowly Gamal opened his eyes. The bright lights hit the vision.

Gamal looked around. He watched Afrijal rush to him. The same thing Tania did.

"Dragonfly! You finally woke up, too" added Tania. He was relieved to see his son improve.

Afrijal was busy watching Gamal. He was not a good parent to show affection. Especially with words. In the depths of Afrijal's heart, he was happy to see his son awaken.

Gamal. His eyes moved in all directions in search of Zara. But he did not see the presence of the woman.

"Where's Zara?" ask Gamal. Looking at Afrijal.

"He won't see you. This time he really went far!" sahut Afrijal's. Determined to keep Zara away to the finishing point.

Gamal frowned. He forced himself to sit down.

"Dragonfly! You can't move much." Tania tries to stop Gamal from moving. But he can't.

Gamal is sitting down. His face grimaced, because his stomach was still painful.

"Dragonfly! Listen to your Mom! You should still get plenty of rest!" afrijal. He forced Gamal to fall back into bed.

"No. I'm gonna go see Zara..." Gamal insists.

"You're so stubborn! I told you he's gone!" afrijal's indignation that finally could not contain the anger.

"Do you think I'll believe it?! After seven years Papah lied to me?!" timpal Gamal's. Looking up in disbelief to Afrijal.

"You mean what I did seven years ago?! Why are you blaming me? Obviously that woman chose my money over you! Why do you think all this is entirely my fault?!"

"Everything is wrong Papah! Papah threatened Zara to the point of fearing to get close to me again! Does papah know?! He's been keeping my son alone for seven years!!" Gamal answered in a tone full of emphasis. Makes his wounds hurt even more.

"W-what did you say? A-kids?!" afrijal's eyes were shaking.

"Yes! I've got a kid, Pah. That's why I want responsibility and will marry Zara as soon as possible." Gamal began to lower the tone of voice.

Afrijal stared intently at Gamal. He said, "That's never going to happen! You'll never get your blessing if you want to marry that dirty woman!"

"Never insult her!" gamal sudang.

To coincide with that, Raffi came. He advises Gamal to go back to the hospital bed.

"Zara's in my room. You take it easy" said Raffi.

Gamal smiled. He obeyed Raffi's orders to be on his back. "I want to meet him. Tell him to come here. She doesn't have to worry about my parents" she asked.

"Don't try to bring that woman here! If you're reckless about it, then I'll make sure Gamal suffers." Afrijal poses a threat.

"And you, Gamal. If you're so desperate to marry that woman, then I won't consider you a child anymore! All the treasures you have now I will withdraw them completely!" now Afrijal is threatening his own son.

Gamal looks flat only. He turned to Raffi and said, "Quick get Zara here!"

Raffi nodded. He decided to follow the wishes of his friend. Not because he does not respect his parents, but because Raffi knows that Gamal's choice is a good intention.
