Chapter 9 "Cancellation of engagement"

Now Abdullah's family and Rani's family have gathered in Abraham's mansion. After the party finished, Abraham told Idris to go to their house first to discuss the relationship between Rani and Abdullah.

Abdullah was there too. His face was just ordinary even he did not glance at Rani in the slightest. In his heart there was only resentment and hatred. Because the engagement that was just held.

But not with Rani. Rani kept smiling because she thought this meeting was to talk about her marriage to Abdullah and the face she could not cover. Even now he sat beside Abdullah who did not consider his existence in the slightest.

"All right, Mr. Idris, this is about the misunderstanding between our two children" Abraham told Indris Rani's father.

"Misunderstand Abraham?" ask Idris. Because he doesn't know anything.

"Yes and Abdullah explained everything" Abraham said.

"She lord Indris I cannot be Rani's fiancee. My Karen has nothing to do with your daughter" Abdullah said.

Rani, who was sitting next to Abdullah, was shocked to hear Abdulla's words. His smile just disappeared because of Abdullah's words that he did not expect at all. He already thought Vano would be engaged to her and would learn to love her but it turned out to be a fantasy far from reality.

"But we're engaged" Rani said.

"I just did it because I had to and I did it to save my parents and your people. That's it and I don't know anything about this engagement!!" abdullah said firmly.

"Abdullah you have insulted us by canceling this engagement!!!" susan said with emotion.

"Jeng Susan we're sorry. But everything we can talk about is good and love is not forced" Silpi said trying to calm Susan.

"Once again we apologize. And I can't force Abdullah in terms of his mass. I gave Abdullah the freedom to choose who his wife-to-be was. And if he doesn't then I can't force him" Abraham said.

"But my master is very embarrassed if people out there know their engagement is off" said Indris.

"Once again we apologize Mr. Idris" Abraham said.

"No, I don't want this engagement to be broken" Rani said.

Abdullah doesn't want to talk much to him it doesn't matter at all. He left all the families sitting in the living room. He would rather go out and go to Adam's house. But when he was about to open the door of his car Rani turned out to follow him.

"Where are you going?" ask Rani.

"It's none of your business" Abdullah said.

"I'm your fiancee and your business is my business" Abdullah said.

"Sorry Rani but I never lightened up getting engaged to you. And I'm not interested in you" Abdullah said.

"Who were you dancing with? With Fatimah yes!!" rani said while shouting in front of Abdullah.

"Yes and I love him very much" Abdullah said.

"What did you see from Fatimah? she's nothing compared to me!!" said Rani.

"Yes he is too perfect to be compared to a demonic woman like you" Abdullah said.

"You're saying I'm the devil and she's such a good woman?" ask Rani.

"Yes"

"Why are you saying that?" said Rani.

"You know a good friend will sacrifice for his best friend. And that's what she did Fatimah told me to learn to love you and forget her reward she loved me too. But look at yourself. You force people who don't love you to live with you. You don't even think about the feelings of your own best friend" Abdullah said.

"You're crazy to step aside" Abdullah said, shifting the bodies of Rani who blocked his path.

"Abdullah" said Susan who was behind Abdullah.

"Susan is already" said Indris.

"You can't do this. I'm so ashamed of my extended family that this engagement is off" Susan said.

"Sorry Mom I can't continue this engagement" Abdullah said.

Abdullah boarded his car and he left dead those who stood in his courtyard. He is very lazy to argue about what is not clear anymore when it comes to talking to Rani.

And now there lived Rani who defiantly occupied herself in the courtyard of Abdullah's house. Silpi approaches Rani and she wants no enmity between her family and Rani's.

"Wake up son" said Silpi.

"Bu Rani does not want this fight to be canceled" Rani said as she continued to cry.

"Let's talk again" said Silpi.

"Jeng we won't forget this humiliation!!" said Susan.

"We don't insult Susan's family. But we can't force Abdullah on who his wife is it's not our right to interfere" Silpi said in her gentle voice as she was born with a gentle and humble woman.

"Rani let's go home" Susan put Rani in her hand and started getting into the car.

"We excuse Mr. Abdullah" Indria said.

"Once again I apologize Mr Indris" Abdullah said, trying to humble himself. Because they have been friends for a long time and the two do not want the friendship to be cut off because of this problem.

Susan and Indri leave Abraham's house. Rani couldn't stop her crying she just kept crying in the car. Idris was confused how he did not understand all this could happen. He was very happy to be able to work with Abraham's family.

"It's Rani" Susan said.

"Bun I don't want her engagement to be void" Rani said.

"Your engagement will not be void" Susan said.

"What does Mother mean?" ask Indris while driving.

"I won't let this engagement go. It's the same as insulting us" Silpi said.

"It's not good that Mother forces the will" said Idris.

"Silent Rani Bunda make sure you will marry Abdullah" Susan said.

"Is that true, Mom?" rani said beginning to stop her crying.

Susan shut up she started planning something in her brain. He was obsessed with being Abdullah's son-in-law. And he will make it so that Rani and Abdullah can get married. Although it must be by way of trapping Abdullah it is not a problem for him .

"Mother is serious, right?" ask Rani.

"Yes and you don't have to cry" Susan said.
