Mairah POV's.
I am currently sitting on a park chair facing directly from the artificial lake belonging to the Satria family. The Satria family residence is not like most houses in general, where there are two-story houses with simple courtyards adjacent to neighbors or vice versa large mansions with tens of acres with long distances with neighbors.
But no, the residence of the Satria family in Bandung is very unique. The house that is currently occupied by Mairah is like being in a plosok, because the intended route to get to this residence must pass through neat trees with a smooth road like a toll road. Early entering the gate of the Satria house area, Mairah thought the Satria family residence was in plosok but not after passing through several houses Mairah aware. That the residence of the Satria family is very unique.
Modern minimalist two-story house with a spacious surrounding yard as large as a football stadium field looks beautiful and distinctive, like a villa in a mountainous area. Mairah fell in love with this place. The view behind the Satria family house is very beautiful, there are waterfalls and artificial lakes with an area of tens of meters that can spoil the eyes.
Mairah loves this place, cool and soothing.
"You likey?"
That voice gave off my admiration.
I smiled, the man who is currently filling my heart is sitting beside me. Earlier, after a short conversation with his cousin, Satria invited me to leave his cousins and invited me to this place.
A thin smile adorned his lips. He grabbed my palm onto my lap, patting it gently.
"If there's anything, tell me."
My forehead is confused. "Why indeed.?"
Mas Satria shook her head. "No papa I just want you to be honest and open with me."
Satria's attitude is strange, I'm more confused by his words. Is there anything he's hiding.
"Why the hell, how weird. I'm curious to know..."
Mas Satria shook her head, on her kisses the backs of my hands alternated. "No why-why. Mas Satria just wants you to be open about anything." The answer is a soft smile.
I'm still not sure, this must be anything like.
"Mas Satria why the hell, what's the same story with me!"
"Not why, Mairah."
"Mas Satria's. Don't do that ah, I'll think seuzon." I demand answers.
"Lust, listen." Mas Satria raised my chin to look at him. His eyes were soft and warm. "Mas just wants you to be open and trusting to tell the story of all the things you hear or see. Because while you're here you're my responsibility. You understand!?"
My eyes were hypnotized by his eyes. Without command my head nodded without rebuttal.
"God willing Mairah will be honest, ma'am."
"That's what I want from you." His hand went up to pat the top of my head that was covered in hijab.
Our eyes clashed, my eyes felt hypnotized by the gaze of black eyeballs belonging to Mas Satria. His lips smiled, his head advancing slowly eroding the distance bit by bit.
"Woy. Early in the morning, it's so bad! Remember the sin of the mother, remember!!" The cry of the bell shocked me and Satria simultaneously.
There. A few meters behind us Sisil shouted while shaking his waist. The teenage girl walked over to the chair we were sitting in.
"Disturb the deck." Satria to Sisil who stood before us.
Sisil snorted cynically towards his eldest brother. "Morning alone. Watch out for the three demons!" His lecture.
Mas Satria had her chest crossed. "Mas the same Mairah from earlier together, you came to be the third. Then you're "
"Tan." Innocently Sisil said.
Me and Satria chuckled at the words of Sisil who passed innocently.
As if struck by his own words that indirectly admitted that he was his demon, Sisil spontaneously cursed with harsh words.
"******! Goddamnit! Bangsaat!!"
Sisil who got a reprimand with intonation of a firm voice from his brother was just a whimper with his feet stepping back slowly.
"Hehehehe, peace bang. Release." He grinned before passing into the house.
Not long after, the teenage girl came back running around. "Boy, mbak. I was told to come in for breakfast, Mama. The chunky!"
"Corn, Mai." Invite Mas Satria to hold my hand.
We arrived at the dining table which was already crowded filled by the Satria mas family.
"Get on, Sat. Mairah won't tell you that." Papa Adam's claws were inviting the laughter of the other elders and cousins of Satria.
I tried to let go of our armband but it seemed like Satria did not want to, because instead of releasing my hand with the rest of my life, Satria pulled me to sit on an empty chair beside Rena's mother. There were three empty seats, two next to Rena and one in front of us.
I flanked every face of the Satria family members present at the dinner table. There's Anin's mom, Adam's dad, Tita's mom, Julio's dad, Mery's mom, Sean's dad, Rendra's mom, Raka, Sisil, Alda's sister, Aldo. Oh yes and don't forget the handsome little pride of mine sitting beside Sisil. Arkenzo. Everyone was present, then who was the empty seat for.
Mairah remembers, Rendra still has a sister. Clara.
"Let's all, we pray before we eat. Pray according to each other's beliefs, start." Father Adam who was the host led the prayer together.
I just realized that Mery's mother and family have different beliefs from Satria's family and Tita's mother.
"Good meal." Mas Rendra raised the spoon high in his hand to prepare to eat breakfast on the dining table.
"Udah rame. I think Clara's late, huh?" A voice with a spoiled tone interrupted my attention and everyone at the dinner table. My head turned to the source of the voice.
Clara. The beautiful woman in the baby doll Fei dress that I was measuring up to was standing in the doorway smiling kindly towards everyone. Her steps gracefully walked over, taking a seat on the empty chair that was directly opposite to me.
"You're late Clara." Papi Julio raised his voice shortly after Clara sat in her chair.
"Sorry Pi's. Clara had some urgent business."
"Who is this?" Her eyes could not be seen pointing towards me with lips that still smiled kindly.
"It's Mairah. The candidate is Satria." Answer mama Anin.
The look on Clara's friendly face turned flat. His gaze at me who was friendly turned cynical with a judging look.
"No bed! It seems that Satria's taste has not changed. Still the same, alim-alim *******.! Not afraid of kibulin anymore." That sentence with a cynical tone managed to make everyone inflamed.
"Clarah! Watch your words!" Strictly Papi Julio rebuked his daughter loudly.
Everyone is silent. No one dared to make a sound as they sensed the aura of the dining table that was starting to grip.
With ease Clara said, as if the sentence he uttered was nothing.
"Bright! Satria's taste is kayak gini, eleven twelve equal Brother Zoya. The difference this one closes is like his rotten heart.!" Hardik Clara's. The charges are not basic.
"CLLARA!! KEEP YOUR WORD!!" Papi Julio stood up while pounding the table which made a loud bang. Everyone jumped in shock including Kenzo who was crying and secured by Sisil to stay away from the kitchen.
"Oops, sorry.! Looks like Clara's words are passing. Continue to eat Clara does not taste." Without guilt Clara passed leaving the dining table. No matter the consequences of his actions.
I just kept quiet. Not because I was unable to refute Clara's accusations but my attention was not focused on Clara but the big black figure behind her. That horrible person who doesn't like me isn't Clara.
Clara has a contract with the genie. This is not true, such a thing should not be allowed.
"Aren't you papa?" Satria took my hand.
I just realized that everyone's eyes were on me.
I tried to smile, as if to say that the words that Clara had uttered were nothing.
"I'm not papa. Maybe Clara's another pms. Eat fiercely!" My clumsiness is trying to laugh to melt the atmosphere.
"Thank God. Then let's continue eating. Poor breakfast at winain."
