A MATCHMAKING
22. His will

It was late afternoon when Velda returned home. A day of being a private driver, the annoying man did not escape for himself spoiled himself sitting enjoying a cup of warm tea in the stall like a child his age.

For Velda hanging out it was a waste of her free time. He is indeed classified as very hard for activities outside the field, somehow he prefers a job like this rather than working in an office owned by his parents.

It was not felt for him to have worked in a newspaper media printing company as a delivery courier for two years. His life is unbridled by anyone but his mother, for Raiya (His mother) such a job is not suitable for a woman like her. It should be more suitable to work in the office to take care of financial administration and supervise the performance of other employees.

But to Velda, he hated the name of the deviant work the most. Work in the office sitting staring at the computer for hours, collecting all the papers full of numbers and scribbles setypo, not to mention getting scolding from other companies if they will charge a payment, continue not only that all work like that for Velda to waste energy and can only be inner pressure.

His life is more fun is plunge the field even though he has his own fixed facilities that he uses only one that is his tail bike. Therefore, it is faster without the sense of waiting when the smoke-dense roads recognize pots, cars, buildings on the clock for work in the morning to the afternoon.

As usual when he got to the complex house, he preferred to save money in his pocket. Instead of buying food outside unless a housekeeper does not cook.

Pulling a chair at the dining table near the kitchen, he opened the vegetable cover. Simple cooking from home for him is not bored. After eating later, he headed to the bathroom to clean himself dusty on his skin and smooth face.

"Miss Velda's home" said Aunt Zaina.

"Yes, Auntie's eating?" Sahut Velda picked up the side dish on the plate.

"Already, Non. Oh yes, the lady of the phone asked why Non Velda did not go to the office?" Said Aunt Zaina remembering the delivery from her Mama Velda (Raiya)

Velda didn't invent Aunt Zaina's speech. He preferred is the empty stomach. For Aunt Zaina it is common to tell her employer's daughter, because Velda's habit is not to delay food when it is in front of her eyes.

"Aibi just want to give advice, if you can ever follow the will of the mistress. You see, madam mulu mulu every ask Non Velda to the office. Perhaps there is something important to be talked about by him to you, Non," continued Aunt Zaina spoke even though there was still no response from Velda.

Auntie Zaina has been working at her employer's daughter's house since Velda was 5 years old. Even so, Velda's independence makes Aunt Zaina proud never to bother others. Not fussy like other children even though he lacks the affection of both parents who are busy with their respective jobs.

Aunt Zaina always gives time to her master's daughter, even though she also has her own family in the village but for Aunt Zaina the happier family is Velda. Because for him Velda is a woman who deserves to be defended even though his parents have long betrothed him to someone their best friend.

"So what did Aunt answer to Mama?" Velda only made a sound after everything was on the empty plate with no more left over there.

"Auntie answers as usual, you work can not be left behind" he replied.

"Yes already, it's okay, most later Velda can nag again with Mama. Next time you ask like that, just answer not knowing. I don't want Aunt getting a scan from Mama." Said Velda finished purifying her dirty dishes and to return to her own room.

Aunt Zaina just sat watching the employer's daughter from a distance of several meters then disappeared from her sight.

At night the sound of a car from the yard was heard very clearly by Velda in his room. Velda's room is very close to the car park.

Both of Velda's parents had come home, but for Velda it was not important to see their circumstances. He is more concerned is his HP silly games children.

(Joe... Geck... Geck.).

The sound of someone knocking on the door of his room. Velda stopped the game play on his own HP and turned his head towards the door a few meters away.

"Non, are you asleep?" The voice from behind the door of her room was Aunt Zaina.

Velda got up from the sleeping position and then stepped towards the door of his room.

The door opened a quarter and there Aunt Zaina stood looking at him. Of course Velda already knew if the housekeeper with such a position was an order from his own mother. Velda could only sigh shortly.

"Later I get out, Auntie goes back to sleep again. Sorry to bother Auntie at night to sleep." The end of the word from Velda was getting more and more guilty to the maid.

"It's okay, it's Aunt's duty to look after this family. Same with madam, yes. Remember Aunt's message this afternoon." Aunt Zaina's smile, she's back in her room.

And Velda came out of the room and then stepped foot towards the living room there had been a woman and a middle-aged man sitting enjoying a business television show.

"Mama called?" Velda first made a sound and joined sitting with them.

Raiya played down the sound of television while Jonathan the head of the family was collecting imports.

"Mom wants to ask again, is it so important to your work than family?" Raiya did not mince words anymore straight to the point.

"Ma, ask that question slowly." Jonathan rebuked his wife and looked at his only daughter.

Velda had already learned that her mother would ask this again, there was nothing she could argue was useless if even giving her mother an excuse that work was useless.

"How are you doing now is everything okay? Are more and more customers taking printing?" Jonathan is speaking.

"Lumayan, but now Velda has the delivery section of the newspaper courier again has been replaced by Joni. Velda only delivered one delivery package from the company near Velda's office and not only that Velda also got an offer from the company to be his personal driver's side." Velda replied slowly explaining to him that his beloved father understood the situation better than his mother was full of emotion.

"Supervice?" Raiya voiced out in shock at the last answer from her daughter.

"Yes, driver, but go home as usual, really." Repeatedly again.

"Look, Pa, his behavior became more, first a newspaper courier and now a driver and then later a street garbage cleaner? Is this what you said was useful? Throw away all that work to put where Mom's face is with Papa if our only daughter is working in a place that's not worth it?!" Raiya again voiced out with an emotional tone and slightly pressed on Velda.

"Ma, I told you not to hurry! Give him a brief explanation." Jonathan warned his wife.

"As for Mama, for Velda it's important and useful. Because it is also useless Velda work in the office what can I do there? Just hearing the scorn of the one who envied Velda? No useful gossip about the nature of others? The deformity of people when we both work but to see the eyes themselves the ugliness of others. Velda works like this also his own desire is not the desire of Mama. According to Mama this is useless but Velda prefers this way rather than a job of wasting time and inner pressure! But sorry Velda, Ma. Make Velda work now I think it's suitable!"

"Velda doesn't care about other people my ugliness as Velda never retaliates for other people's badness because we live the same and are born or different places. God has eyes so there's no need for Mama to insult Velda's work. It's enough for Velda to obey Mama's will, but for this matter, Velda can't, good night!" Lengthy for Velda explained to Raiya her Mother.

Raiya was speechless, after her daughter spoke at length and made her blood rise even more.

"You..."

Jonathan calmed his wife free to give how many times the advice there was right explanation of his daughter but if the goal remains the same can not be banned again.

"You've always spoiled your daughter! Look now he's started fighting mama!" Raiya did not accept and blamed Jonathan.

Velda who was in the room touched his chest, his heart pounding after what he said to his mother had been vaped all over the months, finally he was able to let out that courage.
