An unfeelable closeness

One loud slap made Viona's cheeks red. And that slap made himself fall to the ground. Ray hears Viona's screams of surprise and he twists his body then kicks the faces of the three men who confront him.

"Braven, Viona!" Ray snapped as he ran towards Viona crashing into the boss of the three thugs.

"You okay?" ray asked crouching woke Viona up.

"I'm fine, but they're gonna rob us, Ray." Viona says it's okay, but in fact, her dream is red.

"Damn it, finish him!" his boss was fiery.

"Vio, you just get out of here! Scribbles!" Ray tells Viona to leave, she feels the heat is getting hotter and it seems like the person will not give up until they get what they want.

"No Ray, I'll stay here with you." Of course Fiona can't just leave her husband at a time when people want to hurt them

But, Ray could not linger idly because the four people had come back to attack him.

"I'll finish you off!"

"Well, we'll see" said Ray coldly. His gaze turned sharp, revealing a killing aura from Raymond.

The attacker continued to attack Ray full of emotion. They put all their strength into fighting Raymond.

A loud bang landed on Ray's cheek and the lunge landed on Ray's stomach until it made him fall. Ray grimaced as he held the corner of his lips, he rubbed his blood with his thumb.

"Raymond!" yelled Viona had already taken the valuables in the car and put them in her purse.

"You okay, Ray?" viona asked full scream into worry as she ran towards Raymond.

"Why are you still here? Buruan go!"

"I'm not leaving without you, Ray. Let's run! They'll keep chasing us until they get what they want."

At that moment, Ray wakes up and holds Viona's hand and runs away from there without caring about his luxury vehicle. What he was worried about right now was Viona, afraid that if they hurt Viona again.

Viona and Raymond ran in the direction of the inner plantation so that the vision looked dark due to the plants.

"Where are we running? This is towards the forest."

"If we run east we will be caught by them and they will likely hurt you. Maybe I can defend myself, but I don't want your life in danger, so now come with me to run." Ray held Viona's hand while running a little.

"But we run to the forest. If we don't know how to get home, Ray? It's late and I'm afraid there's a beast or we're lost. And why don't we run east down the street so we meet the people."

"Ray, I'm scared. It's getting dark." Viona hugged Ray's arm tightly and slid her face into her arms so scared of the dark.

"Please, we'll find a way out." Ray grabs Viona's shoulder and rubs the girl's back to calm down. He also panicked and was afraid of wild animals.

Ray picked up his phone to turn on the flashlight, but the phone was off. "Damn, the phone's off. Do you have a cell phone?" asked Ray. Viona looked up and she moved her head.

"No, I don't have that sophisticated stuff." Viona was honest because she didn't have it.

Ray let out a heavy sigh, "yeah, we're moving on and you're not far from me." Viona just nodded as she did not want to be separated out of fear.

In the middle of the road, Viona felt tired. He squatted for a while. "Ray, I'm tired, we'll rest first." Raymond nodded and crouched down next to Viona.

"When do we find a way out? I'm scared in the gini forest."

"A little while." In fact, Ray also did not know the direction to the outside of the plantation.Maybe they got lost further and further away from the settlement. For a moment they were silent under the night sky of moonlight.

Viona felt tired, slowly her eyes closed and involuntarily hugged Raymond's stomach in search of warmth.

"Not yet, but there's a hut. Let's just rest there first. It's down, let's take shelter!" Ray stood up from his seat and extended his hand. Viona looks up and receives a helping hand from Ray. Then they both walked towards the hut.

The hut made of bamboo roofed with haystacks and still ground. They're sheltering there.

"At least this can get in our way when it rains" said Ray sitting next to Viona.

"Yes, and I also hope to find a way out soon," Viona replied hugging her knees. His body shivered with cold.

"It's cold" muttered Viona as she tightened the hugs on both knees.

Ray was looking for something and he found firewood and people started fires. Ray gathered a branch not far from there. Viona looked at him without asking. Ray's hand reached into his pants pocket and picked up a match. Then, Ray lit a fire to help warm the bodies of both of them.

"Hows it? Is it better?" ray looked at Viona.

"Yes, much better."

Then, Ray sat down again near Viona, but this time the distance was slightly behind Viona. He took off the shirt he was wearing leaving a short-sleeved black shirt. Then, unexpectedly pairing his shirt to the front of Viona's body.

The girl nodded and turned, "Ray!"

"You need it more than I do."

"Thank you, Ray." Viona was indeed very cold, she could at least be exposed to the wind of the night for a long time. Especially if you sleep in a blanket. So he didn't refuse when Ray gave him his shirt.

Viona started sneezing and was still cold.

"It must be the effect of today's weather." Ray hesitates to hug Viona. But seeing Viona who kept shivering became heartless and she hugged Viona from behind.

Viona turned her head sideways and looked up slightly, she looked at Ray's face staring at the campfire.

"Sleep, it's been so night. Don't be afraid, I'm here for you." Ray's gaze was so shady and his voice was so soft. Viona nodded, and she leaned her head against Raymond's shoulder. His eyes began to close.

Without them realizing it, if the current circumstances bring them closer.
