CHAPTER 43 LOOKING FOR QAI

Last night Rey stayed up because she called all the contact numbers Nana sent. He was like a madman who didn't know the time because he contacted everyone without looking at the clock.

This morning, Rey left earlier than usual. He made his two friends look in wonder. Not to mention Rey's face that looks like a sleep-deprived person.

"Is there a problem bro?" Ask Mansur curiously.

"Nothing is." Answer Rey briefly. He is lazy to tell a story because it will certainly be a long business if you have told a little about the problem at this time.

"Speaking if you need help." Say Grace while patting Rey on the back.

Around 10:00 WIB, Rey was out of the office. He was given permission by his boss to meet his customers. Though it was only his alibi to look for Qai, his wife.

Rey is riding his bike at full speed. Because at hours like this, the streets are more tenuous. So make it easier for the riders to get to their destination immediately.

Unfortunately though, Rey did not get satisfactory results. Because it turns out that yesterday Qai left a letter of resignation to a friend who is also a teacher there.

Rey breathed a rough sigh. Even Rey did not get any information on Qai's friend who was visited by the letter.

"You where Qai is." Rey Mumbled.

The man who was full of anxiety ignored his drowsiness, ignoring his stomach which asked to be filled. The reason Rey has in mind right now is to find Qai as quickly as possible.

Rey is driving the bike again. I don't know how fast he's using right now. Because of what's in Rey's head he wants to get to where Qai might be right now.

In the afternoon Rey just arrived at her in-laws' house. Because a considerable distance really takes time to break through the journey that must be traveled.

"Assalamualaikum mother..." Greetings Rey who just went in. Because the front door is wide open.

"Waalaikum salam. Loh Rey." Mother wirda dingukan looking for the figure of her son. "Where's qai?"

"What do you expect Rey." Inner Rey then exhaled slowly to eliminate the feeling of tightness that was full of hope.

"Qai did not join the ma'am, Rey stopped by because she had met the customer. Dad's still at the factory?" Ask Rey.

"Yes. Again look at the craftsman, the machine. Rey's been eating yet, son?" Seeing her son-in-law who was like a lack of energy, Wirda clearly knew that her daughter-in-law must have not eaten.

After he finished eating, Rey headed straight for Qai's room. The room they used to live in for one week after the marriage contract.

Rey sees every corner of Qai's room dominated by pink. He immediately put his body on the bed. His hand immediately grabbed the phone in his pants pocket. Rey keeps trying to contact Qai. At all times in the hope that the Qai number is active again.

"It's not active." Rey muttered then threw out her phone just like that.

"Where are you, baby." Mumbled again. Without feeling Rey fell asleep just like that after her eyes closed for a while. Maybe this is last night he stayed up.

Rey returns home after Magrib's time. He regretted why he fell asleep so fast at a time like this.

"Just sleep here, Rey. It's night." It's night." Said Abdul.

"Rey just go home, I'm afraid Qai is home alone. Anyway great Rey's work." Rey. Rey immediately kissed the back of Mr. Abdul's hand and Mr. Wirda took turns to go home immediately.

"We didn't choose the wrong ghost sir." Wirda said after Rey had ridden his bike.

"Alhamdulillah ma'am."

"Mother can't imagine that Qai married her boyfriend. Although they've only known each other and married, but I feel like Rey loves our son so much."

"Yes mom. I feel that way too." Said Abdul.

Rey drives her bike. He must remain vigilant even if he propels the motor quickly. The night wind to get to her house quickly. It is undeniable that Rey is currently also hoping for a miracle if Qai is already home by the time she gets there. I hope that.

It was almost midnight but Qai's eyes still didn't want to be taken by mouth. He continued to rub his flat stomach. After yesterday getting the results of line two, this afternoon Qai immediately looked for the nearest midwife to check her pregnancy. Qai laughed at his own words. If others might go as far as possible and work hard for the sake of their children. But it does not seem to be the case for Qai, he better go home to his parents for the good of him even more so his son. He did not want to take the risk to make his son live in distress. He is the only child of his parents.

"Dad, I'm sorry about your son." Qai.

At around 23.45 WIB, Rey arrived at Nana's courtyard. He does not know the time and ignore if it disturbs the peace of others.

Rey still believes that Nana knows where his wife is. Or even Qai was in Nana's house. Rey knocks on Nana's door.

The door opened immediately after Rey knocked on Nana's door.

"Who is it?" Ask a middle-aged man. I can tell you it was Nana's father.

"Sorry sir. Babe interrupts his break time father and family. I'd like to ask if Qai is here?"

"Qai hasn't played in this house in a long time. How is my son's friend?"

"Who's dad?" Ask a woman. I can tell you it was Nana. "Why is Rey here?" Nana asked surprised to see Rey in the middle of the night at her house.

"Nyari Qai said." Reply to Nana's father who passed immediately.

"I told you Qai isn't here, Rey. Don't you believe me?"

"Has he not contacted you yet?"

"Not yet." Nana sees Rey who doesn't believe her. "Check my phone if you don't believe me." Nana immediately gave her phone as soon as she opened the lock screen.

Without hesitation Rey immediately opened Chat wa angara Qai and Nana. Rey breathed her breath in frustration. He gave back Nana's phone.

"Please let me know if Qai calls you Na."

"Yes. I must have told you."

"Please apologize to your parents because I was rude to come home at the time like now."

"It's okay, we understand."

Nana breathed her. Looked at Rey who looked tired. It is certain that the man who became the husband of his best friend looks less rest.

"You where the hell is Qai. I am not an adult to run away from problems. If I see you, get a hammer, that's a boy." Furious himself now Nana on the childish-loving Qai.
