Lily placed a vase full of flowers, neatly arranged on a long board that she placed in front of her flower shop, the woman glanced at the cellphone screen she was carrying, there was no message from anyone, only one voicemail from Daniel, telling him not to forget to eat, and he replied by writing ok.
Lily waited for someone to call her, too prestige if she asked for news first, but the man who had been missing for several weeks really made her miss.
The last William contacted him when the man sent him some money, and Lily tried to refuse him, the cost of the surgery until the brother's face recovered as before was enough to drain a little of his property, not to mention if there is an eye donor, the man is willing to finance it too, regardless of the price.
It's been a few weeks that William has no news, should he look for it.
"Missing for me Miss?"
The sound made Lily jump back, she was completely shocked, not expecting the man who filled her head to be in front of her eyes. "You surprise me" she scowled with a frown.
William chuckled, the man who looked so handsome with the shirt rolled up on his sleeve slightly tilted his head, "Oh Lily, I miss you so much" he whispered.
Lily clucked, the woman pretended to be selling expensive, actually there was a lot she wanted to ask about the absence of these weeks, but of course all that was just entrenched in her head.
"This past few weeks I've been out there, there's business there, and this morning I just got to Indonesia."
Lily listened in silence, eager to nag, indeed could not contact me just once, whether in the Outer Country there is no cell phone that can be used, "what do you explain so, "for what you explain, I don't need your explanation" he said, pretending to be indifferent.
William laughed softly, to him the shy attitude of the woman in front of him was so adorable. "really so? Ah I'm disappointed" he said in a joking tone.
Lily did not respond, the woman pretended to concern herself with her flowers.
William picked up a flower and gave it to Lily, "for you" said the man.
To distract her laughter, Lily deliberately snorted loudly, "of course mine," she replied by grabbing the flower in William's hand and putting it back in its place.
"This flower may be yours, but you are mine."
The sentence made Lily screech, then remembered something. "Ah yes yesterday Brother Leon has been allowed to go home, and now that he's inside, he's so eager to see you."
William was suddenly silent, and it made Lily frown, "Why?" Ask.
"I don't want to show up in front of him right now, don't tell me I'm here, yeah" the man asked.
While Lily was silent, she did not understand why it seemed William was avoiding her brother.
"How's your brother doing?" William picked up a single rose stalk, its sharp spines slightly scratched the tip of his finger, but the man instead deliberately grasped the spiked stalk until it bled.
"Will? What are you doing?" Lily pulled the man's hand and threw away the flower in her grasp.
The woman rubbed William's palm with the tissue she took from the table, then looked up with a questionable look.
William smiled, "i love this flower" he said. "Beautiful," the man added later.
"But your hand is hurt" Lily replied.
"Oh Lily" cried William who made the woman before him look up, then raise an eyebrow. "If someone you like can hurt you, what about you?"
"Who likes who?"
"I like you."
"Then come with me."
Before taking Lily away, William buys a bouquet of flowers from the store, and Lily tells Nindi to look after her brother as well.
"Public funeral?" Lily who was confused then asked.
William nodded, helped the woman remove the seatbelt from her body, then invited her down.
Lily followed William until the man knelt in a tomb that looked very well preserved. The tombstone there read Greteva Alexandra, she did not know what kind of relationship William had with the woman.
"She's my wife" said William, turning Lily.
The woman who had knelt in front of the navel could see the look on the face of the man next to her who looked sad, maybe this was the woman whose picture was in William's wallet, he thought.
William recounts that the woman he called Eva died in an accident, and Lily could see the grief from her face.
"I want to introduce Eva to you," said William who made Lily blink nervously, the woman turned to look at the navel in front of him and was even confused what to say.
"Hello Eva." Lily smiled, she felt strange now.
William actually introduced Lily as if the woman named Eva was still there, so much the man loved his late wife, inwardly, Lily asked.
After a while, they decide to get back in the car, Lily gets help to put a seat belt on her body, and being that close makes her heart beat fast, the perfume that had been attached to the woman's memory felt extremely alluring.
"If Eva's your ex-wife, then who's My Lily? which picture did you keep in that wallet?"
Lily's question made William who was busy putting a seat belt on his own body then fell silent, the man turned his head. "He's my ex-boyfriend" he said.
Lily ber oh noiselessly, "Will, I heard that the woman you were dating was so much, why are they the only two you kept the picture of, uh, or maybe in your house there's an album with pictures of your ex-lovers?"
The question managed to make William laugh, the man who had been forwarding his vehicle occasionally turned to the woman sitting next to him. "you used to spend the night in my apartment, Why don't you just look for it?" ledek.
Lily, whose face turned sullen, then said, "does I know you have an album like that" she replied.
William rubbed the woman's head, then said, "of course there isn't."
Lily actually wanted to ask about the truth about the man who reportedly often collected many women, but he said, anyway for what, he should not care either. "Will, Brother Leon told me a lot about the fire."
Willim reflex stopped his vehicle suddenly, lucky the road to the woman's flower shop this time was quiet, and he chose to pull over.
Lily who was slightly jumped then asked what was the matter, the woman was a little scared by the change in attitude of the man next to her. "You sick?" tanyakanya.
William shook his head, then drew his seat to Lily with a questionable look on his face. "What did Leon tell you?" ask the man.
Lily thought a little, "sister said the fire wasn't an accident, but there was a mastermind behind it all." Lily tells the story of the older brother who hated someone who allegedly became the brain in the event.
"Do you know who that is?" ask William.
And when Lily shook her head, the man was relieved. "Sister Leon didn't say it" the woman said. "Will, would you like to help me find out who it is?"
For a moment the man was silent, but then smiled, "of course" he said.
