Chapter Six (Not) Substitute Womb

Rendra went into the room and saw Dita who was pensive by the window. The view is far out. The man approached Dita and out of nowhere suddenly Rendra hugged Dita's waist, making the woman startled. Dita turned and looked at Rendra.

"Sir Rendra?" Dita is shocked to find out if Rendra hugs her.

"Don't try to escape. You know what I would do if you dared to walk away from me!"

"I'm not going to run away, sir."

"Why are you looking at the streets if you don't think about how to get out of here?"

"I just want to see the outside."

"I'll go home with Grace. So again I remind you, keep the child in your womb. You know, I'd do anything if something happened to that kid." Rendra then rubbed Dita's stomach. The woman was silent, not understanding Rendra's attitude.

Rendra then walked out of the room without a word. In his heart Dita asked, why Rendra's attitude since her pregnancy slightly changed. Is that guy not cruel? Life and relationships that make him behave so.

Rendra drove the car at medium speed, beside him sat Anggun. They just shut up. Without anyone to speak. Soluble in each other's minds.

Up to an hour's drive, Anggun tried to stop the silence between them. "Do you really know Dita in the account?"

Rendra glanced towards Anggun hearing the woman's words. Instead of answering Anggun's question, the man even sped up the course of the car.

Recalling the first meeting with Dita, Rendra remembered the woman's husband. In his heart Rendra said, why would the man sell his wife. The woman looked obedient. In contrast to Anggun, this wife from the beginning of acquaintance has looked stubborn. They had been separated a few times.
