Chapter 4 (S1): The Son of the Red Dragon

"Now let's see where the Red Dragon boy is hidden?"

Lie Mei activated her God Eye ability and looked into the entire Yan Imperial Forest. Somewhere at the bottom of the ravine he felt an aura similar to that of the Red Dragon.

Lie Mei was very confident that the aura belonged to the Red Dragon child. He immediately rushed to the ravine on the northern side of the forest.

★In Forest North of★

Arriving there Lie Mei looks exhausted and sweat a lot he already does not have the energy to run anymore.

"It's so annoying! Just running for a while this body is immediately exhausted. I need to quickly train my physical body to not be like this anymore." Oceh Lie Mei with heavy breath.

Because he was still tired he rested for a while on a large rock there, trying to adjust his breath to stabilize again. After feeling it was already better Lie Mei walked to the steep end of the ravine.

"Hm... How do I get down to the air?" Inner Lie Mei looked towards the bottom of the abyss that was very deep and dark.

'If I have wings I can fly down but because I don't have them I have to use another way.' He thought he was looking for a way to get down the cliff.

Finally Lie Mei decided to use her Transferring Formation ability, it was the third ability bestowed by the God of Life.

'Heh. all the abilities given by the God of Life do help me a lot.' His mind smiled happily.

Then Lie Mei moved her finger in the air like she was drawing something, and a Formation Array under Lie Mei's foot appeared which was a Displacement Array.

Instantly Lie Mei vanished and disappeared being carried away by a light that was on the Displacement Array.

★Under Jurang★

Lie Mei suddenly appeared under the abyss where the Red Dragon boy was. He looked around his place, in front of him was a large cave that had a very concentrated evil energy.

Lie Mei furrowed her brows feeling the evil energy, she knew if something was wrong inside the cave.

But because he had promised the Red Dragon to take care of his Son so he was forced to go into the terrible cave.

Lie Mei walked slowly into the cave, as there was no illumination inside the cave she lit a fire in her hand as her illumination.

After going deeper into the cave he got to a different crossroads, in the left lane Lie Mei felt an extremely powerful evil energy whereas in the right lane Lie Mei only felt a hint of evil aura.

Therefore Lie Mei chose to go to the right lane. Up there he saw a pile of twigs forming a nest but there was no sign of the Red Dragon boy there.

Lie Mei continued to search the entire cave but did not find the Red Dragon child. He almost gave up his search but it turned out that Lie Mei saw a red tail behind a large rock.

As he peered behind the boulder, Lie Mei saw two sleeping Red Dragon cubs, their bodies were huge compared to Lie Mei.

It appeared that the two Red Dragon children were aware of Lie Mei's whereabouts they instantly opened their eyes and retreated into a corner.

Grrrr.....!!

The two of them incubated towards Lie Mei, with a very angry look and threatening Lie Mei not to get close.

'If it's like this how do I take them with me? Moreover, their bodies are so large I can't possibly take them to the residence.' Her thought.

'What should I do so that they don't fear me?'

The two Red Dragon children were still wary of Lie Mei, but their eyes suddenly looked at Lie Mei's hand which contained a small flame.

They could not stop staring at the flames in Lie Mei's hands. The realizing Lie Mei tried to move her hand to the side, and the two Red Dragon children followed Lie Mei's hand movements.

'Oh. They seem to like this fire. It is also true that no one remembers the Red Dragon saying that he came down to the Human World to give True Fire as his children's food,'

'Is this not my fire a True Fire?!' Thought

'I don't care as important as her they both love this fire, so I'll more easily tame them.' Inner Lie Mei smiled mysteriously.

Lie Mei then made two large fireballs in both of her hands and threw them towards the two Red Dragon children in front of her.

The two Red Dragon children immediately jumped up and ate Lie Mei's fireball. They looked very happy and were very fond of the excellent Lie Mei fire.

Without lingering again he immediately opened his Dimensional Space then told Shang Zhi and Shang Xie to enter into it.

Lie Mei rushed out of the cave because the sun was almost up. But when he was at the crossroads Lie Mei stopped abruptly after hearing a small roar that sounded from the left lane.

"What is this sound? Is there still a Red Dragon child left there?"

The curious Lie Mei finally ventured into the left lane which was enveloped by an enormous evil energy.

'Hopefully that voice is not from a monster!' His inner.

He continued to walk carefully and watched every corner of the cave, after arriving at the end of the cave Lie Mei saw a small creature lying sick on the ground.

"The body of this White Tiger baby is so hot! What exactly happened is why he was alone here."

"Please hang on for a while I'll get you some medicine."

Lie Mei stuffed the White Tiger baby into her Dimensional Space. And he immediately made a Transferring Formation towards his room.

★In-room Lie Mei★

Lie Mei appeared in her room she kept thinking of ways to cure the fever of the White Tiger baby, while changing her robe.

After finishing changing clothes Lie Mei came out of her room and went to the medicine storage and herbs in her residence.

Lie Mei tried to stay calm and look for fever-lowering drugs that were there but it turned out that the stock of fever-lowering drugs was not left.

"There's no other way it looks like I have to make my own medicinal herbs."

Lie Mei then searched and retrieved the heat-reducing medicinal ingredients present in the Medicine Storage Warehouse. But Lie Mei couldn't cook her because she didn't have a medicinal furnace.

Lie Mei looked towards the upper wardrobe and she saw a small old medicinal furnace there. He climbed onto the chair and took the medicinal furnace.

"Hm... It is old but still seems to be used. I'll try to use this medicinal furnace." Her speech.

Without lingering any longer Lie Mei sat cross-legged on the floor and put the medicinal furnace in front of her. Although Li Mei had never concocted medicine before but she could see clues from the memories of the body owner who had read books about concocting medicine.

Lie Mei threw the fire into the medicinal furnace then put the herbs into the furnace and closed it. He closed his eyes and channeled his proprietary Qi towards the medicinal furnace.

The medicinal furnace was floating before Lie Mei and she then raised the fire in the furnace then shrank it back down.

The herbs that were inside the furnace were destroyed and released liquid, Lie Mei directly collected the liquid and then the liquid formed a medicinal pill.

The last stage is purification. Lie Mei separated the impurities on the medicinal pill using her Qi. And finally the fever-lowering medicinal pill made by Lie Mei was completed.

"Haa.... Finished also unexpectedly concocting medicine turned out to require a lot of Qi." He sweats a lot.

Lie Mei lowered the hovering medicinal furnace and took out the medicinal pill inside the furnace. "Level 1 medicinal pill Low quality! This was good enough for the first try."

"White Tiger Baby, you're fine now." Said Lie Mei smiling warmly as she stroked the head of the White Tiger baby.

"You hungry?" Ask Lie Mei.

Because the White Tiger baby had the Dark Spiritual Element so Lie Mei took out her darkness element power and thrust her into the White Tiger baby that was on her lap.

The White Tiger baby immediately ate her she looked very fond of her.

"From now on you are also my Guardian Animal, and your name is Shang Zuo!" Say Lie Mei.

"Then I'm out, you guys just rest here." Said Lie Mei waving her hand.

"Room!" Shang Zuo, Shang Zhi and Shang Xie replied. Then Lie Mei came out of the dimensional space.

Outside the Dimension Room Lie Mei was still in the Medicine and Herbal Plant Storage Warehouse. He stored the medicinal furnace back on the floor into the upper closet.

Then get out of there to the front yard of his room. On that trip he met Xiao Ling who looked very agitated, like she was looking for her Miss.

"Miss!" Call Xiao Ling when she sees Lie Mei, and run over to her Miss.

"Where have you been Miss? I've been looking everywhere for you but miss doesn't look anywhere." Ask her worriedly.

"Xiao Ling, I'm sorry I came out of the residence for a while because I wanted to go around the palace." Said Lie Mei scratching her head.

"Miss next time if you want to go out have to tell me first, please don't worry me." Xiao Ling reminded her Miss.

"Yes, Yes. I definitely won't repeat it again. So what are you looking for me, Xiao Ling?"

"Miss you must get ready we must welcome the arrival of the Second Prince." Said Xiao Ling directly pulling her Miss to get ready.

"T..wait..What exactly happened? Who is the Second Prince?" Lie Mei was confused by Xiao Ling's words.

"Later I'll tell you, Miss, you better clean yourself first." Say it while pulling Lie Mei towards the Bathroom.
